We badly need freelance trials.
It's not fun to get stomped by 3 stacks, after 3 stacks.

6 RepliesI Agree Freelance is The Way All the People crying about having a easy flawless because of stomping the Majority of solo players against Stacked Teams is not Competitive nor the way forward. Having them face the same skill level would not only let the player perform and learn better but become better in general. Instead of Easy Wins for the Players that invests alot of time in this game. You want to play with friends go ahead and play team against team. You want to play solo go ahead and play freelance. Top 1% Crying because they cant carry or get a easy flawless.

https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/50561 The linked post has exactly what you are seeking. And this was well over a month ago. TLDR: freelance trials will be coming for a weekend. Data will be used. If you really care, play it when it comes out and show that it is worth keeping. Player data will determine if it is a success or a flop. It's arrival will probably be the next weekend after the coming one. Because Iron banner is coming up here, and as mentioned in the article, trials will not be available the same weekend as iron banner.

There is no way there will be a permanent solo freelance trials, trials numbers can't sustain it. Once the casuals and pve players leave, it will go back to how it has been.

You’ve a 56% win rate so you’re winning more than you’re losing and you look a pretty competent player from your stats too - why are you playing solo? You’d comfortably get to the lighthouse with a couple folks around your level. All we have to do is look at IB/glory freelance to know that it does nothing to prevent blowout games. I’m glad they’re trying it, but don’t expect the results to be any different

2 RepliesI hope you get as much enjoyment out of future freelance labs because no way in hell is bungie going to add it permanently, the know for a fact the second they split the player base it's dead and they're gonna have to remove the game mode. The simple fact is solo queue exists as an introduction/warm up space to get you ready for teaming up with friends or making friends in lfg to team with. That's it. I feel bad for all the players that thought match making meant suddenly they'll start winning and I feel bad for the masses that think the same about freelance

The Flawless pool should help alleviate some of the issues with solo play. If you’re having that hard of a time - turn your comms on.

It doesn't need freelance...... You want a solo only divide......ask for rumble trials. What it needs is a ranking system. Not SBMM but something that takes your performance into account. Blowouts consistently are not fun

Bungie just needs to get off their high horse already and change it from 7 flawless wins to best of 7 games. It's been how many years now? What percentage of the entire player base has gone flawless? They still base their entire development around content creators and it's really a bad look. There's just no way, even if they made a mode where solo's only queue up for teams, that a team like that will go 7 flawless, it just won't happen. Bungie's still to arrogant to see this and/or change it.

3 RepliesFreelance isn’t something they want because it takes carries away from the elitist and the streamers! They all -blam!- and cried about the flawless pool so what do you think will happen when the solo players arent their to pub stomp? Seriously though, look at what the trials elite did when there was a flawless pool, get 6 wins, reset card! Theyre not activating it untill sunday this week but id be willing to bet, they have already been resetting!

remove flawless, give rating (wins and decline on loses), high rating=adept gear
