Instead of Nerfing Anarchy
Don't nerf anarchy, every time you nerf an exotic power weapon it becomes unusable. For example whisper is useless now and people worked hard for it. How about you bring the other exotics up to par? then people will have more options and then those weapons will actually be usable.
Edit, lots of good feedback. I see why some want it nerfed. I could understand like an ammo reduction or something but most endgame stuff like GM nightfalls it’s almost needed because of how ridiculously spongy the enemies are. Especially Navota! Her health pool is ridiculous and takes forever. But exotic power weapons should feel powerful. Especially when you. It’s your butt to get them. An entire mag for a red bar enemy is ridiculous and tanking rocket shots etc. there’s other exotics I’d like to use but your forced to rely on the OP power weapons or the double slug trick or be stuck on the struggle bus and lose the fun. Games should be fun. If it’s just a miserable slog through buggy mechanics (looking at you bungie) it’s no longer enjoyable

Tbh after the buffs rockets are very viable BUT their ammo economy can never compete with anarchy the way it is. Same with 1k/sleeper Rocket launchers with chain reaction or cluster are great for add clearing. And rocket launcher into a divinty bubble is devastating on high level champions or bosses. The only handicap is that the ammo economy sucks compared to anarchy and witherhoard

I think your take on Bungie's changes is outdated. Whispers ammo regen nerf made sense to me, and for a time its damage was actually pretty strong. Its damage wasn't touched. Now it's outclassed because of BUFFS to slug shotguns and new rocket launcher perks. I just think whispers past its prime and needs a damage buff or a rework. Anarchy is one phasing just about every boss in the game (save for some Master VoG) with zero effort and a decent special weapon. It's an outlier, not the bar.

Imagine claiming people worked hard for whisper. You kill like 50 enemies and 3 bosses. Thats not hard

Stasis was a great step in power fantasy but the community wanted it nerfed and rightfully so but now we have a dangerous bottom line that I warned would happen. Positive or negative of something is broken it will be nerfed and thats the bottom line, the community killed the options or the alternatives. You want balance then that also means balance in favor of difficulty and challenge as well the player or player fun does not supercede balance. Power no longer comes from weapons it comes from skill and competency just like the community asked. The mistake was believing everyone is skilled or competent.[spoiler]I chose to see the results vote as I am a pvp main so the nerf has no effect on me and is strictly pve. Pve nerfs don't affect pvp.[/spoiler]

It can be really good, but not everywhere. A better argument would be sleeper. A guk that got nerfed so bad, they needed to buff it back.

5 RepliesThey never actually said nerf and I think DMG made this point clear by his response to the 1st several post. They do say they are giving it a more specific roll. So currently its decent at dps, good at add clear, and offers a unique gameplay experience. So my theory is they will nerf the tick damage but buff the explosive damage from the grenades detonating. This way it's better for single target DPS and less effective for add clear.

It still has more dps than xeno and the recently buffed sleeper. Anarchy currently does everything a weapon could do and it does it extremely well. Anarchy has been my main heavy for the past two and half years because of how well it does everything. Dps, total damage, add control, champions, majors, etc. There’s no reason to change your loadout for different activities when anarchy is the best for everything.

That's not bungies MO. Its nueter the weapon, replace with weapon that's worse but does more damage now... Rinse and repeat until the best DPS option is a white sidearm.

7 RepliesI personally don't mind Anarchy remaining the way it is. As a heavy weapon by itself, it actually isn't all that strong. However, paired with a good special weapon, it becomes what it is. Almost always the strongest DPS option outside of a sword. Let's look at the alternative, it either still adds ticks of damage on top of your special weapon which will still be the best option, or it gets nerfed so hard, the combo of special + anarchy can't even equal the best heavy weapons. Now let's look at the DPS phases, currently it's shoot a couple Anarchy shots and do damage with a special weapon. Rinse, repeat.... Nerfed Anarchy will probably mean we will be shifting to Xeno, Sleeper, Deathbringer, etc, by itself. That would be more boring and probably require less skill.

2 RepliesSadly Bungie looks at Stats and nothing else when it comes to choices. Whats used the most? Needs a Nerf. GIve us all Breach and Clear, well duh of course people are going to use the best thing they have in their inventory.

I am hoping that they only rework it i.e. only one person is able to attach grenades to a single enemy. But based on previous experiences (see whisper), they will destroy it
