And how will they get you to use the NEXT exotic heavy weapon since they're all so good, and you now have so many options?
Make it even more powerful and even easier to use than Anarchy?
Until we're so powerful we're one-shotting bosses?

Why make it more powerful? Why not make it equal? Because Bungie needs to nerf it to introduce the next meta. Exotics by there nature are niche weapons due to unique perks but they are also a tier of weapon, too, so they should be more powerful than a legendary.

Because that how player psychology works. If loot isn’t an upgrade in some way, players ignore it…and if there isn’t power-progression they get bored and stop playing.

That’s already inaccurate, look at solstice. People did the grind for armor that’s cosmetic. I’d rather have a pool of fun exotics filling it’s own niche then OP weapon needed to introduce new OP weapon. And if you say that’s not possible you’re wrong because warframe and other games do it pretty well
