They never actually said nerf and I think DMG made this point clear by his response to the 1st several post. They do say they are giving it a more specific roll. So currently its decent at dps, good at add clear, and offers a unique gameplay experience. So my theory is they will nerf the tick damage but buff the explosive damage from the grenades detonating. This way it's better for single target DPS and less effective for add clear.

  • It’s not really better then witherhoard for ad clear even in higher end content. I’d be willing to be they’re going to trash it’s dps on bosses and destroy it’s ammo economy. Or increase the nades needed for max tick damage to 3. Either way it won’t be meta since so many other things are only every so slightly behind it so we will have another raid exotic that’s completely irrelevant. Not a damn one is in anyone’s inventory other than this one

    In the GM last night teammate was using Wither and I was using Anarchy. It's without-a-shadow-of-a-doubt better than Witherhoard in every way, like double or triple per tick. I love Wither and probably would go to that after the Anarchy nerf, or Xeno if that gets an LMG buff with the rest, or maybe stick with rockets. But, it is way better. Anarchy isn't needed; made gilded conqueror one without it, and for some GMs I prefer not to use it. Again, people want it mostly because of breach and clear, which Bungass introduced, so they're doing this to themselves, to spite the players.

  • The vex buff will probably be a joke. Either yeah it’s nuts. Used it for a lot of the gm farming last week. Things just anarchy but uses special ammo and has auto loading
