Not happy about the STUPID orb generation changes.
NO legit quality of life changes where vault is concerned and probably the most asinine change to orb generation you could have devised, just really, kicked my excitement for witch queen right to the curb. But you already got my money , so what do you care .RIGHT!?

13 RepliesThe bigger issue here is; how does a company fail this hard so easily? How can a company spend years fixing a single issue and still come up with the worst solution? How did they manage to piss off basically everyone? This is a new low for Bungie imo. It’s hard to even make fun of them over it because I feel so sad for them. How do you leave a meeting with a solution that your entire player base hates? How? How are they so far removed from their own player base? Didn’t they just hire a bunch of people? Did they bother asking if any of them actually played the game?

Using any armor mod slot is not going to be good news any way it gets spun! You have a max 10, and no matter how many slots are present, yes I’m talking about Adept, you still have only max 10! They will either spend a slot for free, now you have 1 less slot: or, price the mods so you are unable to generate orbs without losing something valuable. TLDR: Super Nerf, period…

The funny thing is the mod will be by damage type. So if you have a solar orb mod on, whats gonna happen if you rockin another element?

3 RepliesIt’s done to make their jobs easier. We have to give up an ammo finder mod to just make one weapon drop orbs. It’s a double nerf. Absolutely done to make the game artificially harder so they don’t have to do less. So they can make their new game. Cause apparently they would rather let this whole franchise crash and burn out of spite. Like that makes me trust them with a new IP. I’m seriously debating deleting my characters and account.

Just hear to make my opinion known along with everyone else. I do not think this is a good option, all the time spent on masterworking different games feels wasted and invalidated. Once again feels like my time and energy as a customer/player is not being respected and valued. Just get rid of masterworks completely if this is the case, doesn't make any sense to just get a kill counter for masterworking. Typical 1 step forward 2 steps back, nerfing things that nobody asked for. Not to mention mod over crowding and other really obvious problems with doing it this way others have pointed out. Honestly what are y'all thinking?? PLEASE UNDO!!
