It actually kind of is by making the game more difficult. Because right now anyone can just throw on taking charge and protective light and not have to worry about actually making a build, that and this change wasn't really done because of that but more due to technical reasons so now they have freed up some of the memory on weapons. People are just mad because they can't crutch MW orbs + taking charge + protective light as easily on top of their ammo finders and they actually need to spend resources(abilities or explosives) using well builds or generate warmind cells to get it. Surprising considering most of the people here would be complaining the game is too easy.
I think it’s good change
In what regard? There's no other information avail. yet to even make a positive spin on it. They allude to it"all making sense" at a later date. Well F that. Cryptic is only good in Fantasy writing where the all knowing wizard is concerned, not where an actual , functioning(lmao) community is guaging whether or not to spend 100 dollars ....especially during this inflation

If it means a trade off to get charged with light it’s better for the game -
Better how?

Just pointing out that YOU changed the tone here. My post and subsequent comments/responses are, and have been ,respectfully conversational. Even when taking some to task

I mean it is very strong and it was essentially very very easy to get… nerf is fair -
Edited by Hedley_Lamarr: 1/14/2022 5:47:08 PMcwl is moderately powerful. It's direct . It's consistent . it only needs multi kills/ via orb pick up. Well builds can do super dynamic and more powerful things , but aren't that consistent , and require an ability proc set up in most all cases( if you're a GAMER you know this already). Which, by the way they've also readjusted to be second option in most all cases w cool down nerfs. So again, with all respect, as it stands w what we know, HOW is it a good change?

They implemented it because they believe masterworking is too resource intensive. Like I said, full of it.
