The bigger issue here is; how does a company fail this hard so easily? How can a company spend years fixing a single issue and still come up with the worst solution? How did they manage to piss off basically everyone?
This is a new low for Bungie imo. It’s hard to even make fun of them over it because I feel so sad for them. How do you leave a meeting with a solution that your entire player base hates? How? How are they so far removed from their own player base?
Didn’t they just hire a bunch of people? Did they bother asking if any of them actually played the game?

Some of their Devs are even out of touch of what Bungie even has done or does xD So I doubt many of them play Destiny 2, or they all play Destiny 1 I dunno.

They hired people to work on another project and they're siphoning funds made off Desinty to bank roll that other project. The whales are feeding Bungie. I'm all for playing Destiny, just don't spend a dime on silver - microtransactions continue to ruin the industry. At this point the seasons are a joke too and wouldn't be surprised if Witch Queen completely underdelivers.

No real competition. The gameplay developers owe the writing team an apology. The writing team has been working it and bringing the fire while development is out there trying to shoot this IP in the -blam!- foot.

They are doing it on purpose. They are using “build craft” as a cover. These nerfs all add up over time. Makes their job waaaay easier when we are weaker. They admitted it with Reckoning.
