Pay-walling Gjallahorn is just a slap in the face
Bungie.....wth. You're entire game studio just loves to make your player base pay for everything. It's literally your 30th anniversary and you made it pay to play. WHAT IS THAT????? You actually just lost a veteran player thats been playing since D1 beta. Bungie....you suck!

1 ReplyA $25 Dollar event that gives less than a 10th of what an expansion has, and an $80 expansion that is coming while they're vaulting another expansion. The one with a main character's death. Yea, they keep taking and taking out more while giving less and less in return. I want D2 to be fun, I want to enjoy it but I'm not slapping a hundred bucks into it AGAIN. Bought the game day one, with the first 3 expansions so when you diptards say 'fReE gAmE' you forget some of us didn't get it free.

But that would be a disaster because everyone wants Gjallarhorn so from the marketing perspective is the smartest move to sell the pack. That it’s a slap in the face isn’t important for Bungie. All they do is drive up prices to force people to buy the content THEY want. I already made a topic about the Exotic SMG also beeing ripped out of the base version of WQ, while in the past all Exotics tied to expansion (like NTTE) was always in the base version of expansions. Now you have to pay 30 bucks more because it’s only in the desluxe version. But looking at the past I like to buy base versions and decide per season if I buy content, even if it’s more expensive in the end. If content doesn’t appeal to me, I don’t like to be forced to pay in front for it. Now the force you to buy the Deluxe version, and for all you know the can make dungeons that are terrible or so bad in quality but you already paid for it. And I like to first read reviews, watch some video’s before I think that content is good. And until BL, they Always Had an exotic tied to the storyline in the base versions, with some ornaments and stuff (which i don’t care about) in Deluxe versions. Now the base version is made so bare bones that you’re forced to buy the deluxe. And that’s a move I’m not okay with. It’s starting to look like Activision and EA

This post and the loads others like this just need to remove Destiny from there downloads and play some other game, and if it can be helped not to post on a Destiny forum telling other destiny players that it's your ball and you are going home with it. Dry your eyes ! Btw Cracking game BUNGO :)

Think of it this way: This isn't a 30th Anniversary-thank-you-to-all-our-fans-and-community-for-all-the-love-and-support-through-out-the-years! That would be nice, but they don't owe us that. You get what you pay for. This is simply an expansion whose release happens to co-inside with Bungie's 30th year of being in business No more, no less
