• What? Someone is over exaggerating what people ask for and doesn’t get how bungie is paid.

  • They've made mega money from this game already. Hell, this is the third time the player has payed for Gjally. But no you keep feeling bad for poor old bungie, pushing the limits of what they can charge for with every ka-ching of the eververse store 😂

  •
They've made mega money from this game already.
And workers, building costs, taxes and ressources for hardware, music composers and CGI-Commercials are not payed once in an entire game production. Those are ongoing costs. As a Media Designer I can tell you that a simple video of the length of 2 minutes for a company can very fast cost up to 52k $

  • Oh don't get me wrong I appreciate how much game design costs, I studied 3D animation when I was younger. But don't forget Bungie is worth 2 Billion nowadays and owned by Microsoft. It's all done in house, which keeps the costs down, significantly.

  • What are you talking about? Bungie split from Microsoft after Halo 2 and went for Destiny 1 with Activision til they split from Activision too 1-2 years ago. Right now they are an Independent company, that tries to also start a sister studio in Europe.

  • Yeah my bad, something I was looking at mentioned 2021 and still listed their parent company as Microsoft so I thought they were still in the background. Yeah they split in 2007. Microsoft has been trying to reacquire bungie though, not long ago, but their price is too high. So that also says a lot regarding how well bungie are doing

  • As I said, they are trying to step foot on Europe in their great conquest to overcome the world as the best game studio.

  • 😆 well they make $500 Million a year. And in 2 months alone they made $3.3 Million from just 10 items in the eververse store. They're a publicly traded company Google it, the info is out there. Bungie is not struggling for money, in the slightest.

I can't find the thing I saw right now, but just Google Bungie net worth or profit and go through the results. Considering they're worth $2 Billion, with an income of around $500 million I'm pretty sure they're doing ok 😆
