Good lord, if taking away the events will take away all the excuses Bungie has about why they can’t make content for this game - I say take all of them away. I’d prefer legit content over baking cookies.

Bungie has to come to a point where reality actually sets in facing the truth that they are literally nothing without Activision. They have become an embarrassment to AAA gaming companies showing they don't know how to manage a game by themselves and the best they can offer 4 years into the game is the base game again? You know, where Luke lost 80% of the player base because of his arrogance and Bungie straight out lied saying the player base was lying about the huge drop-off? Bungie is all washed up and Luke did absolutely nothing for this franchise in 4 years other than lead the game back to the base game that had no substance and con the fanboys that they "will do better". We all know this TWAB"S are ignored so this BS "feedback is given to them" doesn't work anymore knowing how fake this compnay has become.

It's a well-known saying that 'You can't polish a turd'. The generally accepted definition of this term is an 'unconvincing attempt to make a bad situation look good'. In other words, the situation is so bad, you just can't make it look any better, even with polish (or some other superficial improvement). But boy can you polish these TWABs Cozmo Respect

So, let me see if I fully comprehend exactly what Destiny 2 is going to be like for the foreseeable future. *Sunset weapons *Un-sunset weapons *Re-sunset weapons *Sunset armor *Un-sunset armor *Re-sunset armor We'll pause here for a moment because I am genuinely flabbergasted that you, Bungie, think the key to get players playing again is to, and this literally what this is, force them to get the gear they already have over and over again if they want to keep using it. This is doubly confounding when it comes to armor because you've already made it such a God-awful chore to masterwork a full set of armor that I'd be willing to bet that most players, and I'm just talking ones who have been with D2 since the start, either only have one character with one set of MW armor or, at most, each character has one MW set. Yeah, that's fun. But let's continue.. *Removing more than half the content players have paid for at any given time. *Replacing removed content with: **Content from Destiny 1 (and even with that..) **Not nearly as much as was removed I just... On a scale from 1 to even, I can't. *Ever-increasing the "Power Level" which is, actually, nothing more than an artificial number that simply dictates whether or not you can participate in an activity yet or not. *Adding new Artifacts, Fragments and Mods as a substitute for any form of meaningful RPG element. Yeah.. Power Level is an absolute joke because it doesn't mean anything at all. Everything levels with you or is just always above your level to give you a bigger bullet-sponge... I mean, "challenge." That said, I have played and do play games that also have enemies that scale to your level to present that challenge or are always a higher level for players to overcome. But those games do it better. How? Because they're ACTUALLY RPG GAMES! I have to build my character to the way I want to play. I sacrifice strengths with certain weapons and gear in order to make the weapons and gear I want to use the most powerful it can be. By doing so, even when I'm going up against max-level characters, I have built my character in such a way that I can still do insane damage to kill the enemies quickly as long as I'm using my build correctly. But those enemies can still wipe the floor with me but that's because they're at-or-above my level so I have to be efficient. The way D2 does things is... Everybody does the same thing! There's no true difference between my Titan and someone else's Titan. We're gonna run near-identical weapons, mods and subclasses for each activity because the game's made to basically be played only a handful of ways. For that matter, there's no real difference between my Titan and someone's Warlock or Hunter and vice versa. Only things different about anybody's characters are their double-jump mechanic and what color their outfit is. Otherwise, we're all using Falling Guillotine or Lament while using Stasis with Whisper of Fissures. It's astounding at how much potential there is for this game to be an amazing RPG. A world rich in lore and stories still being told. Weapons and armor to make us more powerful against our foes. But we don't get any of that. Everybody runs the same weapons (mostly and overall) with the same mods on their gear. The lore and stories are there but we don't experience most or any of it and, instead, either just get told that something happened or have to go find extra reading material that's NOT part of extended lore but actual, current goings on that would be useful to discover while PLAYING the game. And we still get slapped around by a couple Dregs in Trostland but I've already spoken about the laughable nature of "power level." It's boring. It's dull. It's dry. It's beyond repetitive. I bought the full year of Beyond Light because of some friends and my clan and, by gods, do I regret doing it. I love playing with those guys but I don't love playing this game. I'll play what I've paid for and then I'm just finally, at long last, putting Destiny squarely in my rear view mirror and only watch it fade back into the distance from nothing more than my peripheral. Because it doesn't deserve anything more than that.

Is there a motivation to master-work any weapons or armors, knowing that all of them will be irrelevant after one or two seasons?

Just saying these gilded titles are kind of a waste of development time and money. A orange/gold title that’s got a sunset timer of a season is dumb. Really dumb. Not calling the people who are happy with this as dumb, but this development time and money could’ve been used towards actual content such as strikes, raids, pvp, and loot to name a few. Seriously boggles my mind why they think this is okay. If you wanna do titles like this then make them a permanent thing instead of a sunset per season. It massively shits on the players investment if the grind isn’t worth to be shown indefinitely. You can even have it act like a prestige system where it changes colors, like a orange red or something is the final tier of gilding.

Perhaps a quote from their own game will get the point across: “A line has been drawn in this system; Light (Your fan base, quality) on one side, Dark (Sunsetting, ignorance, money) on the other.” Tell us Bungie, “Where do [b][u]YOU[/u][/b] stand?”

Why don't you guys stop reusing things and bringing old content back and focus on fixing your game. Fixing in the sense of making it enjoyable to play. Even the streamers that depend on you to survive are turning against you and calling this game what it is. Empty and boring. No replayability. You have taken so much of the content away, you sunset the rest. FIX THE GAME - bring all raids back and bring them to the current soft cap power level with Armor 2.0 and random rolls on weapons - Remove sunsetting completely. - Armor sunsetting is absolutely wrong. There is not one reason for this. The only thing I can think of is that it was implemented to artificially inflate play time - Weapon sunsetting is 95% absolutely wrong and there is no reason for it. You want to prevent "power creep", ok go for it. we are still waiting for that weapon thats better than any pinnacle weapon that you were soooooo worried about causing power creep. If Revoker or Mountaintop or Recluse were that awful fine remove them. Get rid of all pinnacle and ritual weapons across the board and do not bring them back. instead focus on exotics. Make exotics the end all be all. When gearing up for a mission I should say "damn which exotic do I want to use". Not "well all exotics pretty much suck guess its Xeno...again". When a child is causing a problem in a classroom you remove the child you don't punish the entire class. When an employee is awful and isn't doing their job you don't fire all the employees you fire the one bad apple. If you don't understand Recluse and Mountiantop are the problem child or bad employee. So get rid of them and all pinnacles and move on. There is no reason at all that everything should be thrown out. And if you are going to be lazy about that then at least give us full sets of weapons when you do bring something out. Europa and DSC don't even have a full set of weapons. You took out so much and give nothing back. I don't understand how hard it is to just think about what you are doing. Sunsetting should not be a thing at all. Hell every 3 months grinding for power level shouldn't be a thing. Literally sunsetting and increasing the max light level every 3 months says one thing to me, you know your game is not fun and people aren't going to keep playing it unless they have to because of FOMO. I remember when I used to get excited that I was about to get out of work and get home and grind some D1. Then you split from Activision and its been down hill every since. There have been some awesome things in the past couple of years but for every positive theres 2/3 negatives. The fact that the streamers and media outlets are starting to call you out for the overall trash in the game is very telling. I really wish you would listen to the overall opinions of the community and make a game everyone will enjoy not the game you want to make. Consumers dictate what they want not the other way around. If you keep betraying the trust of the community you are not going to have a game.

Holy crapola. Remove sunsetting. Add new pvp maps. New IB gear (no more reissued stuff). Add meaningful new content. Bring back old quality content.

With every new TWAB, my drive to play Destiny 2 is waning. And I WANT TO PLAY IT. But I look at my stuff and think, 'Why bother? It'll all go away, sooner or later, probably sooner.'

You almost had me with gilded titles. ALMOST. But after 1 crucible match, and every death I suffered being to a slow or freeze mechanic... I’m good. Keep your gilded titles. I’ll be on a different game. ✌🏻
