The Izanagy armor set is cool...but shouldn't we get it on a dungeon sort of activity like the previous season? What happened to the promise? I'm confused...I mean, the only feedbacks I heard of the Daito armor are that it wasn't very good and you didn't get it as an ornament but as an actual piece of armor. But was that enough to take back what you said about getting ornaments doing activities? Please Bungie I want to earn the armor not buy it.

There is a huge difference between an actual promise and a Bungo promise. A Bungo promise is purely something that is said to try and appease players after yet another anti-consumer move by Bungo. A Bungo promise is not something Bungo ever expect to come through with, nor should anyone else. tl/dr - A Bungo promise is more usually spelt "L I E"

The New Eververse Ornaments have no Content tied to it. If they Realised it back during BA, then you'd have an Argument. The Black Armory and the DSC are 2 Very Different things. Only reason Ada-1 is here was because the People at Niobe Labs wanted to make Walking Forges, and Exo's were a Good path to Start. If I Remember correctly thier progress was stopped during the Collapse. And Ada-1 is the First of her kind as the Exo body was Specifically Designed for this. The Armour Ornaments are Designed after the Weapon, just Like the Joetin Sparrow, the Fighting Lion Sparrow. Now, instead of Sparrows and Ghost shells, it's Armour Ornaments.

All these dumb people in here that either don't know how to read or they never read it in the first place and are here just to whine because thats destiny community we are talking about. They said that every aspirational activity(RAIDS DUNGEONS AND TRIALS ONLY, maybe IB too) will have it's own cosmetics. And also, "Beginning in Season 12, we will no longer be selling ships, ghost shells, sparrows, or armor ornaments in Eververse that are visually based on themes from Aspirational Activities." Do you see any RAID OR DUNGEON that matches the theme of Izanagi armor that eververse is selling? Why would you expect it to be in any of the current activities? Also, its still kind of earnable in-game. You play and you get Dust. You can buy the whole set with dust. That means that you can actually get this set if you play the game. I've been buying every piece with dust every week since it became available in eververse. Stop crying ffs

Please know, that we are listening, intently. We will be lowering the amount of Bright Dust earned from doing weekly bounties from 100 to 50. Hunters will get the ability to dodge mid-jump. This is the way. Know that we are doing everything in our power to help the playerbase feel empowered and rewarded for their time. We at Bungie, strive for rewarding players with unique experiences and amazing cook books. We will share more as the weeks progress. Hail Hydra. -Bungie

THIS WEEK AT BUNGIE – 9/10/2020
Our goal is to have a pursuit weapon available per Season, earned through a focused quest. Banshee will give you a choice between Strikes, Crucible, or Gambit to earn the base model. Make sure you take a moment to think about how you want to earn the weapon, as you'll be locked in to specific objectives for whichever activity you pick. Once you finish the main quest, Commander Zavala, Lord Shaxx, and the Drifter will offer you an additional quest which will reward you with weapon ornaments to the theme of their respective activities. If you’re omnivorous and enjoy all three offerings, all three will be available to you.
Edited by Demon_XXVII: 12/5/2020 1:46:15 AMYou mean running x2 weekly bounties in 3year old stale, bland, unrewarding Strikes for 200 Brightdust, isn’t aspirational ?
-
They lie through their teeth. All the time. Just like “play the way you want to” xD
-
They were focused on giving us weapons and armor to chase.
-
Edited by TJ_Dot: 12/4/2020 3:40:36 AMThe stipulation was things that looked like they belonged in an activity. and there's no BA activities now. They pulled a fast one on us. Kinda messed up
-
Wait, there's an izanagi armor set??? WHERE?
-
Bungie never promised to stop selling ornaments in eververse, & they never will. I'm not sure where you got that from.
-
Adored. Next post.
-
Maybe next season...
-
Don't tell anyone that I said this okay? I'm not allowed to so I'll try and hide it.
License agreement, subject to change. Now the part I'm not allowed to say... This company abuses that and they have relied on it way too much.
-
They removed the Black Armory content so now they can claim it isn’t related to any activity in the game...cause they removed the activity it would relate to. In Bungies words “Your technically wrong. Give us more money.”
-
It went down the pipe with hand to hand with "Your feedback is clear: The time you have invested in your stuff should be respected." Same old Bungo.
-
That aspirational activity was the Sniper ornaments from the 3 core Playlists... That is as much as you're getting from Bungie without a credit card.
-
Just buy it. You know you want to.
-
I misunderstood this too. When you go back and read it, it becomes clear they meant aspirational activities will have their own unique armor sets, and for that to happen with Prophecy they put the Eververse set for that season in it. That didn’t mean that there will never be any more Eververse exclusive armor.
-
Edited by Trafalgar_Lou: 12/5/2020 10:39:04 AMWait...you believed them? Hahaha Let me guess. You still think we’re getting “renewed focus on pvp” ahaha Or “strikes need to be more rewarding” Bless your soul.
-
That's actually not what they said unfortunately. What they said is that they wouldn't put the items that share a theme with aspirational content in the eververse store. So going forward, if they make new dungeons or whatever, the themed items from that content should be earnable in that content as opposed to eververse. Hope this clears it up for you.
-
They’re thinking of ways to best monetize it, stand by.
-
I think the opportunity for making a sale is what happened
-
Edited by THA_3rd_GUY: 12/5/2020 3:24:29 AMBungie: You mean getting the Deluxe Edition of Beyond Light for NTTE's ornament doesn't count as an aspirational activity?
-
They said we would see these changes "as early as Season 12", I suspect it will be later this year as it likely ties to more changes around the bounty system and Bright Dust economy overall. https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/48993 https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/49722

But we don't play in free to play game and more unfortunately this game doesn't have any good for people, who love earn all stuff, all cosmetics without spending money, we bought this game and all my feels they do everything to make money.
