There is a huge difference between an actual promise and a Bungo promise.
A Bungo promise is purely something that is said to try and appease players after yet another anti-consumer move by Bungo. A Bungo promise is not something Bungo ever expect to come through with, nor should anyone else.
tl/dr - A Bungo promise is more usually spelt "L I E"
