All these dumb people in here that either don't know how to read or they never read it in the first place and are here just to whine because thats destiny community we are talking about. They said that every aspirational activity([b]RAIDS DUNGEONS AND TRIALS ONLY[/b], maybe IB too) will have it's own cosmetics. And also,
"Beginning in Season 12, we will no longer be selling ships, ghost shells, sparrows, or armor ornaments in Eververse that are visually based on themes from Aspirational Activities."
Do you see any RAID OR DUNGEON that matches the theme of Izanagi armor that eververse is selling? Why would you expect it to be in any of the current activities? Also, its still kind of earnable in-game. You play and you get Dust. You can buy the whole set with dust. That means that you can actually get this set if you play the game. I've been buying every piece with dust every week since it became available in eververse. Stop crying ffs

Edited by 123TheCloop: 12/7/2020 2:01:36 AMErm hold on a second.... you realise Shattered Throne was a "requirement" to obtain Izanagi's right...... oh look that doesnt have dedicated loot like Pit does or Prophecy that got removed (for some reason to only return later) Try again though. as far as I'm concerned, Shattered Throne more than qualifies for this set as it was a straight up a requirement to complete to obtain a quest step in Izanagi's and Managerie required heroic completion for the Catalyst. Managerie no longer exists so Shattered Throne is the only sensible option.

Don't even know if you are joking. You probably aren't though....HOW THE -blam!- DOES SHATTERED THRONE MATCH THE THEME OF IZANAGI? That's the dumbest comment i found so far. Oh look you can obtain vex mythoclast from Pit Of Heresy .. that means that they shouldn't make a vex set because PoH still exists and you can obtain Vex Mythoclast from there. Are you even aware what a theme is? How does a taken themed Dungeon match the Izanagi set they put in eververse?

Edited by 123TheCloop: 12/7/2020 4:33:40 PMso here is the thing...... bungie say "theme" if they specifically meant "visuals" they would have either said visuals or aesthetics not "theme" [b](btw all 3 of these mean different things, so dont try to confuse the 3)[/b] izanagi set is more than viable for shattered throne, heck its less "forge" related than it is shattered throne related in terms of "visuals" as its based of the "weapon", shattered throne is the only thing left in the game that links izanagi's. You may not agree thats fine, but considering the set in terms of visuals "isnt" far of the theme of Forsaken with the dreaming city I'd argue its more than acceptable.

That and Black Armory did not have to be removed since all the content is on non-vaulted destinations. Also... ALL THE ASSETS AND LOCATIONS ARE STILL IN THE GAME! They didn't even remove Niobe Labs or the Forge locations. The ones on Nessus are still there and the ones on Earth are still there! We could've thrown it into Strikes, crucible or gambit as random drops because those core playlists which are the only actual content in the game right now could've got some more stuff other than 1 whole gun each? Or they could've left Black Armory in the game and updated the caps on the loot and possibly added new roll combinations and had an extra raid to put into a rotator for pinnacle drops. But... well Bungie is lazy. Again, stop licking Luke's butthole this hard and trying to defend this obviously greedy decision.

The post is talking about the promise Bungie made and everyone here says Bungie broke the promise which clearly they didn't because the new set they added doesn't belong to any of the current activities that are in game. You, on the other hand, are talking about how they could put this set in the game. Something that is entirely different than what we are saying right now. An entirely different problem. Bungie was pretty clear about what they wanted to do. People call bungie a liar for something they never said. They never said, hey, from now on every -blam!-ing single cosmetic that we could sell in eververse will be in game. What you are saying is part of the problem that there aren't many cosmetics in game. Bungie made a move to fix that a bit by adding all the aspirational-themed cosmetics in the aspirational activities instead of eververse.

They never said it had to be a current activity or that they would do themed armour if the activity is no longer available. They said they would no longer put items themed around aspirational activities in the store. They have done just that with the Eververse armour set, its even more scummy they removed the content and then proceeded to do it as well. You are the one that is trying so hard to find a reason to whine. We are doing circles with the arguments right here. Why would they have to explain that they will only put armor in EV that doesn't match any of the current activities. Its common sense. You are talking about an activity that doesnt exist anymore. Its over its out of the game get over it. Its as if you are telling me that next season there shouldnt be a cabal themed armor because that could belong to Leviathan WHICH IS OUT OF THE GAME so in the end it couldn't have belonged there. I feel like talking to a baby. r/DTG posters make more sense than you.

You have figuratively no legs to stand on... its funny really. Like I said earlier... why did they not... I dunno update another activity with that themed armour? Sure its not themed around that activity but parts of the game are literally like starving African children begging for actual updates and loot. That and you also ignored the fact they left all the zones in the game. They are all still physically there all they did was remove the ability to start the activity or the code for the activity. Cabal themed armour would be okay as long as it did not share the same visual look of Leviathan. Which this armour takes on a similar visual look to Black Armory which Scourge is based on and the armour from Scourge being Black Armory themed armour. Also, I'm "whining" now? Seems more like you who's doing the whining getting all worked up. I'm stating exactly what Bungie said and that they have lied, that is it. That and the fact other core activities are starving for loot and gear is... a fact.

Maybe... when that tongue of yours gets out of Luke's poop chute you will actually form more than 1 brain cell. Would you think its common sense that... lets say... A company sells a limited edition car to you with a specific themed design that they say they will never sell a car with that theme again. But when they stop selling that limited edition car they make a "new" car that has a very similar if not the exact same specific theme on the "new" car? Is it common sense for them to sell that "new" car with the same theme simply because the limited edition car is no longer available for purchase when they said they would never sell a car with that theme again?

Aye, for those still struggling to follow this... lets hark back to the days of Vex Offensive... I've never been able to get past the feeling that the Season Pass sparrow and Phenotype Plasticity armour would have been Raid drops if the Season Pass wasnt a thing.... The grumble that Eververse was leeching loot from the actual game definitely had, and may well still have, some credence.
