Restricted again
Wow bungie thanks for restricting my account again for 2 months please show me how I am lagging is being afk in orbit really that bad also isn’t this punishment a bit gruesome

Bungie's networking structure is 100% geared towards allowing the greatest amount of people to play without server or client side issues, no matter how bad their connection is. That is why a P2P model is in place. If you are getting restricted because of networking, your problem isn't your internet - your problem is not having internet lol /s

8 RepliesI am not trying to defend laggers here, but I think a few things need to be said. Not everybody can afford the best internet, and some areas still lack in quality internet connections. Also, if internet connection speed is going to be something that causes restrictions on an account, Bungie needs to state this clearly in their marketing for sale of the game. (this may be a thing already, I don't really know) On hard copies, and in the description of the digital game, it should be stated that the game requires X amount of download/upload speed or restrictions on matchmaking may result. Somebody just buying the game, may have no idea that they do not have the internet capability to play it in multiplayer, and a warning label would help make their decision on if they should buy the game. I know I would be pissed off if I had bought Destiny and then found my internet could not handle it. That being said, lag is a real problem, and does limit the enjoyment of the game for many people.

Please provide test results for: Upload speed Download speed Latency Are you on a wired or wireless connection? I suggest you let me help you, or fix the issue on your own. Your next restriction will be permanent.

Did you know I just got done with my 2 month restriction, yesterday I was playing competitive pvp all day, it was so much fun. I wean pve is great but after two months it’s kinda meh. Don’t worry everyone, during those two months I had real internet restored and now I can do whatever. So all I have to say to you is, have fun with pve for two months, to be honest it’s not that bad. I did solo flawless pit of heresy for that time, I soloed prophecy (not flawlessly) and shattered throne. I decided to farm raids and god rolls. Do master nightfalls and just kinda do things I normally wouldn’t do when I wasn’t restricted. There’s a website for this but I just waited. Also I would suggest you get internet (Cox is the best option) because if you do this again it will be for a whole season. Good luck.

For some reason I’ve been matching Indian players all the time.... I wish they would get the same ban.... they just teleport around the screen ... it’s so annoying to play against -
Honestly good. You're obviously affecting other people and been reported multiple times. Please fix your connection. Unlike other games this one actually favors people with bad internet or intentional lagging.
