1. Never use their Super during a Strike or Reckoning or Survival. They sit on it to the very end, just-in-case...
2. Rarely equip the required Champion beating Mods or Abilities in match-made Ordeal Nightfalls
3. They don't generate Orbs in Strike or think it's important, because they barely use their Super (see 1)
4. They are oblivious to Invaders in Gambit Prime
5. They kill the THIRD WIZARD (Envoy) in Gambit Prime when an Invader is present
6. They rush to quickly revive team-mates just killed by an Invader, so they can be killed again
7. They rush headlong towards enemies in PvE or PvP, quickly die, re-spawn then rush headlong towards the enemy again...
8. They rarely cap zones in Control or Iron Banner "cos slayin'" is more important
9. The ones who do cap zones sprint towards those just captured and away from those that need capturing
10. They get as close as they can to Boss or Major stomps and never take cover from repeat boss DoT or Burn attacks
Any obvious ones i've missed or you'd like to add?
EDIT 1:
11. Rush to destroy the boss in Public Events before experienced players can turn the event Heroic (Aagghh!)
12. Rush to destroy the boss at the end of an Ordeal Nightfall before experienced players can get an easy 100K points and a PINNACLE REWARD (Aaaaaaaggghhhh!!!)
EDIT 2:
13. Refuse to stand in Warlock Wells of Radiance or Titan Bubbles created by team-mates. BUT if an enemy player in PvP casts a Well or Bubble they run right in...and die (SIGH)
-
They put a -blam!-ing bubble on the bergusia tank and attack the head with a sword while preventing anyone to do damage oh and turns the tank away so you can't hit the crit spot.

FTP needs to be removed

You forgot new players doing public event or ignoring the objective during strikes

....this was on Reddit. No one cares.
11. Rush to destroy the boss in Public Events before experienced players can turn the event Heroic (Aagghh!)
I'm an experienced player and I always melt the tangled shore PE bosses before they can be turned heroic. Why? Because the extra time added for heroic mode isn't worth the extra loot. All other events should be turned heroic though.
-
14. Not downloading more ram
-
This list applies to most players in Destiny and has since the beginning. Vant be blaming new light only. The thing we can blame them for tho is populating playlists! There skill level be damned it's nice not having 10 minute cue times because the populations low. Better then what fortnight does filling there lobbies with literal bots. If yiute worried that much about winning or what your teammates are doing then put a fireteam together before going in.
-
Good with everything except number 8. Most “blueberries “ cap zones. The “sweaty” players do not cap zones.

Experienced players stopped making pub events heroic over 2 years ago.

Edited by Disciple4Christ4: 5/27/2020 7:07:55 AMThis entire list is completely irrelevant in my mind based on the fact that you did not include the ONE thing EVERY SINGLE NOOB IN THIS GAME DOES!! They rush into a bubble. Shame on you and your kin

Minecraft Dungeons is where its at Boys!!

their biggest mistake was they choose to play Destiny

#11. Glimmer extraction. I get a bit punchy toward the extractors.
1. Never use their Super during a Strike or Reckoning or Survival. They sit on it to the very end, just-in-case... if you can win without it, it’s better than using it. 2. Rarely equip the required Champion beating Mods or Abilities in match-made Ordeal Nightfalls oh please. In matchmade nightfalls, anyone can kill a champion without mods. 3. They don't generate Orbs in Strike or think it's important, because they barely use their Super (see 1) it takes about 200-300 orbs to get one super. Orbs are in no way important whatsoever. 4. They are oblivious to Invaders in Gambit Prime thats probably because they have two primaries and a sword and can’t do anything about the invader. 5. They kill the THIRD WIZARD (Envoy) in Gambit Prime when an Invader is present its YOUR job, as a competent player, to kill the invader IMMEDIATELY. 6. They rush to quickly revive team-mates just killed by an Invader, so they can be killed again no one EVER revives in gambit 7. They rush headlong towards enemies in PvE or PvP, quickly die, re-spawn then rush headlong towards the enemy again... because not doing this makes stuff take longer and gets boring fast. 8. They rarely cap zones in Control or Iron Banner "cos slayin'" is more important no one caps zones. Why? Because winning is not important, ever. What’s important is how many kills you can get to complete bounties or pinnacle quests. 9. The ones who do cap zones sprint towards those just captured and away from those that need capturing they aren’t actually trying to cap them 10. They get as close as they can to Boss or Major stomps and never take cover from repeat boss DoT or Burn attacks this is only bad if you don’t know what you’re doing. Any obvious ones i've missed or you'd like to add? EDIT 1: 11. Rush to destroy the boss in Public Events before experienced players can turn the event Heroic (Aagghh!) ill be honest here, I break out xenophage and kill the boss as fast as possible. Why? Because heroic gives you nothing, and just takes longer. 12. Rush to destroy the boss at the end of an Ordeal Nightfall before experienced players can get an easy 100K points and a PINNACLE REWARD (Aaaaaaaggghhhh!!!) why the heck do you care about score? It’s all about completing the strike as fast as possible.
Everything you just said isn’t what new lighters do, it’s what new lighters DONT. Most of the time I come across a new player, they’re doing everything you said, which is bad. Although there is one I’ll add for you: 13: use their primary weapon in PvP.

#14 don’t realize they can’t shoot through a bubble

#13, they dont stand in my well when I place it. I mean guys, its there for free, and I'm wearing pheonix protocol so i can get my super back.

Edited by LZ2001: 5/26/2020 6:18:34 PM
1. Never use their Super during a Strike or Reckoning or Survival. They sit on it to the very end, just-in-case... I am just frugal in nature. I still hesitate to spend enhancement cores and I have over a thousand of them 2. Rarely equip the required Champion beating Mods or Abilities in match-made Ordeal Nightfalls Fair enough. Try to at least have 1 relevant mod on. 3. They don't generate Orbs in Strike or think it's important, because they barely use their Super (see 1) Again, frugal. 4. They are oblivious to Invaders in Gambit Prime I'm not oblivious, I'm just so bad that it doesn't matter 5. They kill the THIRD WIZARD (Envoy) in Gambit Prime when an Invader is present Depends honestly. I try to burn through the first couple primeval slayers to get higher damage quicker. At least get to 3x. It also matters if their primeval is almost dead. We may not have time to deal with the invader and try to kill the boss before he kills us. 6. They rush to quickly revive team-mates just killed by an Invader, so they can be killed again Agreed. 7. They rush headlong towards enemies in PvE or PvP, quickly die, re-spawn then rush headlong towards the enemy again... Those shotgun bounties man 8. They rarely cap zones in Control or Iron Banner "cos slayin'" is more important This has been an issue since D1. It is still as annoying as ever though 9. The ones who do cap zones sprint towards those just captured and away from those that need capturing Red on radar? You need to cap zones and kill enemies. 10. They get as close as they can to Boss or Major stomps and never take cover from repeat boss DoT or Burn attacks Agreed Any obvious ones i've missed or you'd like to add? EDIT 1: 11. Rush to destroy the boss in Public Events before experienced players can turn the event Heroic (Aagghh!) Alright. I only do the heroic if it will be quicker to do so. If it is faster to do it normally, I do it normally. 12. Rush to destroy the boss at the end of an Ordeal Nightfall before experienced players can get an easy 100K points and a PINNACLE REWARD (Aaaaaaaggghhhh!!!) I am guilty of this, but I do have a reason. I was grinding nightfalls and not getting near the 100k, so I wasn't paying attention to the score when I killed the boss to only see that we were 500 points away. That's my bad, but 970s aren't known for their ability for an easy 100k.
Edit: I am not a NL player, so this doesn't apply. Just giving my experience and reasonsing.
-
Not even a new light player, but uh...I ain’t capturing those zones ever man.
-
Edited by JT-Rex-: 5/26/2020 4:33:48 PM2 and 3 maybe because they are new light they don’t own the season so don’t own the artifact? So no champions mods and probably no masterwork weapons to make orbs. 8 and 9 just sounds like everyone when I play control lol. And 11, experienced players know there’s no incentive to make PEs heroic so they burn the boss while no names try to figure out how to make it heroic but lack gear to do so lol.

Newbs gonna newb

You forgot the heroic event stuff.
