Trials is shit cause the loot sucks. Bad players and good players all want loot. Don’t hate on good players for being good at the game lol.

Bungie just implemented trials worse than trials of the nine, that's the only issue here making people move away. It isn't due to some revolution of 62 IQ players boycotting out of some moral outrage like you think it is.

i've said this in D1 and this season... Once you go flawless, you can't go back to Trials of Osiris for the week. The only thing that would make sense is a Flawless playlist for the best of the best, call it Trials of Saint -14 or something. That way the average Guardians could compete at their level and only few would actually make it to ToS-14 making the entire playlist Competitive and Fun. But someone at Bungie decided to be stubborn and said no (reasons unclear), even though they took away Trials for such a long time, apparently to make it better. Now majority of Average Guardians suffer because of Bungie. Elite Guardians suffer because of Average Guardians (leaving) and Bungie will suffer when the playlist dies completely and Guardians will leave not just the playlist but the game entirely. Who's to blame ? I honestly would like to know who at the studio made the decision to Not ad a Flawless playlist and the thing about tokens disappearing. You're either extremely sinister or just super lazy. And please don't tell me you had no time... you simply copy the Trials of Osiris and paste it under a secondary Trials of Saint -14 title. The only thing that you would have to ad is Flawless Passages and Flawless bounties. Oh and yes exclusive rewards, literally same weapons and gear, just with better rolls and maybe better skins. And the light house... well, have Osiris at ToO and have Saint -14 at ToS -14, wouldn't even have to change the vistas ! but hey, that's just me o_O ps. Before any of you argue that it was meant to be like a professional sport... I had this conversation in D1 already too. To make this short... it's like football NFL, only the best get the trophy, just don't forget you all came from Collage football first (some stay there, some move on)

First off I dont care for trials but I wouldn't go as far as to say remove it. Games should have hard to reach heights so those that get there can have the feeling of validation when they bust they bust their backside to get flawless or anything else for that matter. This idea that "that everything needs to made to my liking" is what kills games. I mean I have items in games I've been chasing for years but I'm not gonna scream at a developer because I can't obtain it. And no getting pub stomped ain't fun but hey it happens that's why you restart and go again, that's why it's called a grind.

Just in, in a Few Weeks, Flawless players will get NEW Rewards for going Flawless. Could be Adept. Can't wait to see.

At some point, will people asking for so much work to "save" Trials realize what "Trials" is ? By its own definition the sweatiest PVP activity can only attract so many players. Just like grandmaster ordeal or raid are not going to suddenly double their population just because you double the rewards everywhere. You heard streamers and even Bungie saying that Trials need to be pinnacle, it needs to be sweaty, well then it will have the population which goes with it. That's just normal.

If hackers got punished and connection issues fixed. Maybe trials would make a resurgence. Like a lot have already said a bounty system should be implemented for casuals with rewards that should be worthwhile. Bring back adept weapons so the good players don’t just farm three wins on the casuals. We shouldn’t separate the pvp and pve community cause Hingis thought they would be creative and -blam!-ed it up like usual.

Bungie has shot themselfes in the foot. They chased away the money and I highly doubt they are smart enough to lure it back. The so called top tier players are as crooked as the top tier wealthy, and as stingy. Trickling down is Bungie's profits. Its too late for change or an uprising. The cheets and hacks can have destiny and it will fall from grace. But dont loose sleep for destiny's demise , halo is carrying this junk bond company and is a fine home for the 1%. Maybe the rest of us will get lucky and bungie will fold up its failure with D2 and sell it to a real company. Like Activision. The irony alone would be worth it.

Il be honest, I'm glad trials has turned out to be the dumpster fire I thought it would be. If you want proper competitive pvp then go play counter strike, destiny can never be competitive or balanced as it just isn't made that way.

I could see the playerbase on pc suffering because of rampant cheating. Though on console man, things are nice. Nice big playerpool with the sweats out in full swing. My only complaint is ddosers and lack of adept weapons/ornaments/lighthouse specific cosmetics etc. As for the skill gap in the population, it was a thing in D1 as well. Trials still pulls those folks as long as the reward and prestige is there. Is that the case for every player? No, but it’s sizable. Other than that, if you don’t like the idea of trials, don’t play. Not every game mode is for every player.
