Trials was easily one of the worst things to ever happen to D1. The mode destroyed the a ton of established raid teams. Might be the final nail in D2’s coffin. Alert: That is a figure of speech. Of course there will be a few addicts playing right up until the day Bungie abandons D2.

I’d have to argue about the trials point. If it weren’t for trials being introduced in HoW holding up the game until TTK, the game would’ve been dead over that summer.

They trotted that bs out back in the day, alot of us were there for it. As I recall, the best trials w/e came within about 40k of pve but that was all pvp. Bungie has never released decent stats breakdown ever deliberately. I had alot on my list playing back then, more played IB than trials by a country mile.

And one of the things that makes Trials so bad is that it actually holds no true competitive value. Thinking otherwise is absolutely delusional.

agree with this tho. NO REASON light level is enabled. people who beat me should be BETTER than me, not play the game longer
