Suspended twice on the same day
I got on yesterday to play elimination to just kill time to only to be shocked to what came on my screen, " you have temporarily been suspended from the crucible for 1 week due to unstable connection " my jaw drop again to only see have been suspended yet again but this time for 2 months for trials of Osiris?! OK to start off, i don't know how i get suspended for 2 months on my first offense this is insane and totally unfair. i been playing a lot of crucible games last week mostly IB we all know lag is terrible in that game mode and we all experience it. but here's the thing i have an wired connection that clearly says in the bungie article. and if i do lag, it's not to the point where every single last guardian is lagging for me and if that's the case i wouldn't be able to bear the lag that I'm experiencing. and i 100% guarantee my friends or the people I'm sherping will call me out of it.

15 RepliesWhy all the posts supporting Bungie banning people? I understand red bars are no fun in pvp, I have stopped playing it because of this, but surely the onus should be on Bungie, first to change their infrastructure and get rid of P2P to help solve a lot of the problems their current set up is causing in this game. Then if people are still red barring and lagging, start dishing out warnings and bans to players, after all we are THEIR PAYING CUSTOMERS.

9 RepliesUnderstand, if your lagging you usually won't see others lag. Also, being wired doesn't mean a thing if your ping or bandwidth is terrible (these aren't controlled by strictly up/ down but distance from host and connection type) . Lastly, you were double banned due to lag in both the banner and trials, these are two Separate instances, so you got two different strikes.

10 RepliesWhere does it say that if you are wired, your connection is always good? Even on Wi-Fi can a connection be good. It depends on so many things that just being wired doesnt mean you shouldnt lag. Couple of things that matter: High-speed internet. Stable connection. Good range to wi-fi point or good working cables. If you have a faulty wire, your connection is not stable. Mix that with a unstable connection to begin with and it gets worse and worse. Also Bungie doesnt ban/suspend people without good reasons. From a other reply i saw that your opponents lag out alot. So that means either the connection is so bad it causes them to lag out, you DDoS people or its the people you play with that do that. [u]<--- [/u] yes, people you play with can also cause you to get a ban. So even if you have a perfect connection, they can caused your ban to happen.

2 RepliesDamn bungie, look what you did, now everyone is going ham on someone with poor connection that's most likely only poor in your game and not others like cod, gta, bf4, ya know it seems everyone forgot that other games work much better than this one, I've seen so many red bars which I'm sure most of you who is harassing someone innocent falls in that red bar category, bungie just effin up in so many ways that are silent and unseen

2 RepliesSorry dude I got the same ninja justice just for playing with a dude that was lagging real bad. Budgie's help page said "you are the company you keep." So even though I wasn't the one lagging I got suspended. Before the hate pours in; on my screen everything was fine the dude read all the hate mail he got after we were done playing and I knew he would be hit by the ninjas, just had no idea it extended to me.

1 ReplyI just checked your recent matches and it appears this past weekend that there were multiple occasions where some of your opponents lagged out of the match. I don't have any sympathy for you. Get a better connection.

I'm happy. The sooner bungie starts stopping people with 500 ping entering the crucible the better. Even I avoid the crucible the days my internet is sloppy (rarely). You should do the same after your suspension is over.

I think it's a good thing and does show that they are doing something about people ruining the crucible for everyone else
