Basically, it's awesome when you're not where you're shown to be on screen and it sucks when everyone else isn't where they're shown to be on screen.

There are two basic types of lag. There is the type of lag that most laggy people have. On the laggers screen, everyone else is either teleporting or walking into walls. The enemies position is set back by a few seconds, making it near impossible to get kills. That is damage referee coming into play. Then there is the other type of lag, which is must more rare, which has the same affect, but on the wrong person. Instead of punishing the lagger by making non laggers god mode to them, it punishes non laggers by making laggers god mode to them. #TitanMasterRace

The way destiny connection works (peer to peer not dedi servers) and their horrible net code allows laggers to get a sort of God mode.

I know for a fact back in cod mw2 when I used to lag sometimes, id end up dying out of nowhere for poor connection/server it was rare that I got a "lag kill" id most likely get a lag death 90% of the time and that was the penlty for poor connection/servers, not banning the innocent

Yes and No it depend on your type of lag like say, Your reviving someone and your lagging really bad it'll delay that rez and say you die he may just get rez out of nowhere. Or in a another scenario you may be shooting endless rounds into a guardian that's most likely lagging won't die that's considered Really Bad Lag and it could be that individual kills you or you kill them. Kinda 50/50 if your experiencing that you should find the reason why. ( just an scenario ) P.S. Not the connection i have Someone else can elaborate on it more.
