NO BLUEPRINT FOR QUEENBREAKER'S BOW YEAR 2
Let me start off by stating the situation
I got queenbreaker's bow year 1 in PoE back in January on my Hunter (so obviously this is before the April update) and loved the gun. I used it on all characters that it was useful for (the level 20-ish area) and fully upgraded it. Unfortunately, I had to put it in storage because it wasn't useful anymore for PvE and I didn't do a lot of PvP. Imagine my surprise when I learned that there was a year 2 version! I was super happy! So like always, I grabbed my year 1 version, headed over to the exotic blueprints and noticed that more specials were added except... YEAR 2 WASN'T UNLOCKED. I even checked the year 1 section to make sure the game knew I had it and yes, it did.
Here's what I've tried:
*Equipping it on all characters and checking the blueprints, even when the gun is fully upgraded
*Buying another copy of the gun in year 1 from the blueprints in hoping it was just some sort of minor bug
*Leaving the tower, moving it in and out of storage, moving it over to other characters, and resetting Destiny itself
*Waiting a period of time to see if the game was just acting funny, then checking it.
Result: Nothing changed. I still have to "discover" it again even though I have it on me as we speak.
PLEASE patch this. This is my favorite fusion/sniper rifle and I absolutely would love to use it again.
Oh, and since RNG's always suck for me (I never get exotic specials) the chances of me getting another any time soon are piss poor.

So You have to do Challenge of elders apparently Screw that. Really. I absolutely HATE prison of elders. It's the most BORING thing ever. Guess I'm never getting that gun again. I could care less about any other gun... but really? Open your eyes Bungie. This is why people abandoned Destiny.

Same thing with the 4th Horseman, I got V.2.0 and V1.0 is locked... who's stupid idea was that? Like why would I hunt for the first version now lol. It would make more sense if when you unlocked the new version you'd unlock the prior version too... who's gonna use the first one anyway?! Lmao oh Bungie...

Also you can do it as many times a week as you want and can get high light stuff from that gets your character to 335? OMG Bungie! What have you done?! Got Y2 Dreg's Promise on my first run and LoW on my second run. It [b][u]is[/u][/b] boring, but it's really easy and rewards decent loot for the amount of time invested.

i was pissed as well. but i now get an exotic every freaking time. ive got all 3 and about 7 dups. its nuts!! just farm it :)

Farm the 42 if you really want Queens Breaker. It's so easy to blow through it.

Challenge of elders is a lot more enjoyable than Prison of Elders. Give it a shot before you bash it. Still not raid tier, but better than the monotony of PoE for sure

Just ignore the adds and dmg boss as fast as possible. Takes like 5-15 mins. You also get class items, ghosts, exotics, and legendaries along with those 3 weapons that randomly drop. And no dismantling mines and stuff. Idk how it can get any easier.

I did the challenge of elders like 20 times and got 3 dregs promises, 2 lord of wolves and a queensbreaker bow easy to get them easiest exotic ever

2 RepliesWow! Just play the new challenge bud. Irritating, I get it. While you're playing PoE challenge mode... In the third and final round, say into your mic "I hate prison of elders, I'll never get the Queenbreaker's Bow!" And whalah, you'll get it. Eventually. Let me know if it works first time though, I'll want my cut.

There is no year 2 exotic blueprint. To earn year 2 Prison of Elders exotics you must receive them as random drops from Prison of Elders activities at year 2 light levels.
