REBUFF BOWS
Bows have become utterly useless now and the skill gap to use them is probably one of the highest in the game to master (here come the haters lol). Why would you nerf bows? Bows were in a good spot not meta and not non-meta but in between now they’re nothing.

Just use bow swap, its still viable and make them pay. Make it the worse for others, hell I dont bow swap because its boring asf, but -blam!- it. If the only viable way is to bow swapping am going to do it and make everyone pissed. -blam!- the hater

They had enormous hit boxes… definitely wouldn’t use skill to describe bow use…. I hate nerfs but bows can stay gone…. They single handedly slow matches down to a crawl -

They can still kill in 2 headshots, and they recently buffed Lightweight bows slightly, after the initial nerf, to ensure that they can still 2-tap with precision hits. Aim for the head, not the body. I've been using Le Monarque since the nerf. While it's harder than before to get kills, it's still usable if you can land those 2 headshots. If anything, they need a faster drawing and reload/nocking speed to balance out the reduced damage.

They should have nerfed the problematic exotics first (Monarque, Wish-Ender), taken a second to see if the issue remained, and then nerfed legendaries. As for bow swapping, an easy nerf for them would be to restrict swapping until after you knock another arrow, or drop the cap some more

They need their flinch dialed back big time since their ttk is so bad. A pulse or HC can flinch above user too easily for peak shooting duels. There are too many options for two taps from other weapons that completely negate bows peak shooting ability.

I just want Disruption Break to work with Lethophobia in PvP again. Made that perk completely useless with the changes.

Regardless of their actual effectiveness, they had one main flaw, they were unfun to play against for more ppl than not. That pretty much trumps any actual skill/effectiveness/meta/ect argument to be made. And I pulled out a bad one recently and did fine with it, so it's not like they're dead or anything.

Dude bows playing as intended is literally a peek weapon, so how is corning a lane and hiding after each shot supposed to be skilled play? Also on top of that bow swapping was cancerous. If you want a PvE buff I can support that, but if you want a PvP buff I bid you stub both your pinky toes. PvP bow play needs to get buried in a shallow grave

Idk about you but if I was in charge of this scenario, I would have just simply nerfed the ability to swap instantly to another weapon. Add a cap to how fast players can switch to other weapons, this would also fix the swap issue with shotguns, snipers and fusions that can literally do the same thing.

Love my whistlers whim adept to death and miss its old feel. Now I just rock a pulse or HC instead cause it just ain’t the same in pvp or pve

I personally feel they would feel much better if they reduced the reload animation from 0.5s to 0.3s like they were initially planning. My biggest gripe with them is knowing I am always at a disadvantage when trying to duel someone due to the long ttk. If I could go into an engagement knowing I have an equal chance of winning if I hit my shots, I would be much happier. You are right though, they are now the lowest ease-of-use weapon now. Requires all crits to kill, longest ttk, and missing a shot doubles your ttk.
