If you think that nerf made bows "utterly useless", then you suck at using bows. They can still kill in 2 headshots, and they recently buffed Lightweight bows slightly, after the initial nerf, to ensure that they can still 2-tap with precision hits. Aim for the head, not the body. I've been using Le Monarque since the nerf. While it's harder than before to get kills, it's still usable if you can land those 2 headshots.
If anything, they need a faster drawing and reload/nocking speed to balance out the reduced damage.

Then can 2 tap, however the nerfs and buff to health basically requires either oathkeepers or 100% perfect draws and crits. I mean a perfect draw with a precision frame only deals 128 crit damage, which isn't even enough to break a guardians shield (130) Holding your charge for 0.2 milliseconds reduces the crit damage to roughly 111, which makes it a 3 tap against high health guardians. There even increased the draw time for precision frames, so your ttk is now 1.1-1.3 which makes them slower than every primary.

I suck at using bows? When you have to use le monarque which is the easiest bow to use? I actually use the bows that takes skill for example tyranny of heaven. Its a light weight frame and u need to get urs crits in order to get kills. It was hard enough before now it’s literally a washed out version of what it used to be before the nerf.

You shouldn't be trying to duel other weapons with a bow, especially at mid-range. They're intended to be used for peek-shooting. You should have another weapon with you to cover those types of engagements.

Technically Bungie designed bows to be support weapons (ie run around with a teammate and prime an enemy for your teammate to kill or vice versa). Unfortunately when dueling solo, they are pretty much forced into having to peak-shoot in order to overcome the difference in higher ttk compared to other weapons. If bungie would reduce the draw-time & reload animation to where they had a similar ttk as other weapons, then you would see peak-shooting a lot less. They would still he able to peak-shoot, just like handcannons can, but there wouldn’t be much of a need for it anymore. Hoping Bungie will consider this change in the future so that playing with bows wont be as boring.

Sure, but nerfing their Aim Assist AND their damage on top of the overall health increase is, in my opinion, a bit too much of a nerf. Also why peekshooting weapon aren't allow to duel someone While Handcanon can easily do that ?
