Just a suggestion maybe add a conversion for legendary shards to tokens of bravery
As legendary shards are going away with final shape and most veteran players still have an absolute tonne of them left, you could as a way of giving us a means of spending them all have a new conversion in the Hall of Champions maybe 1 token of bravery per 10-15 legendary shards. This would in part help to solve some of the fomo around the event, veteran players and those who play the event a bunch (those who have dismantled a lot of gear chasing a particular role could purchase additional tokens in hopes of getting a sweet god roll. This wouldn't make it too easy and would only really reward those who play the game a lot.
Just a suggestion, what do you all think?

Not gonna happen, wouldn't be fair to those with very little, the reason they are ditching them in the first place -

Suits me I have over 35k ready to go. Unfortunately what you are suggesting would be bypassing the legendary Bungie hamsterwheel of grinding and therefore, unlikely to become a reality.

10 Tokens of Bravery - 100 Shards. Would be a good deal for me!

Better yet, add a second chest that drops Brave weapons and costs like 50 or so L-Shards.

Yes yes. Help the players make use of the shards we grinded for instead of just making it all worthless. Give us something for the work we put into this game.

3 RepliesGood idea. BUT there are [i]some people[/i] (ahem veterans) who have thousands and thousands of shards. If those people could turn them in for tokens and get their god rolls early, then they would take a break. Bungie can’t have that. 😭

I think I'd be all for that, but I have 50 something thousand of the buggers, others who don't have as much will feel bad and/or cheated I'm sure so we'd never hear the end of it. It makes sense to give us something for our accumulated wealth imo, since it's not our fault the currency has been worthless for years but hey...

Bungie isn’t going to reward people for playing their game. That why shards we have accumulated since launch are going with a hardly meaningful conversion process. Like nice -blam!- you to the currency players accumulated. All because Bungie is obsessed with their fake in game economy

That would be rewarding for long time players and we both know that bungie is allergic to that so they remove anything that can be stockpiled to make you go back to that hamster wheel

2 RepliesThis is not a good idea because some people have asburd amount of legendary shards. Some do not. People should not be punished just because they didn't hoard shards.

Since you can still acquire shards I'd make the conversion something like 50 shards to 1 token.
