There was an article on reddit where Bungie described the changes to the timeline for getting all weapons:
• Weapon timegate reduced from May 21 to April 30th.
• Weapon drop rates for all 12 will be "be among our highest in Destiny’s history, even harkening back to the days of Season of Opulence."
• Onslaught will be moved into the Vanguard node as a separate node once The Final Shape releases.

1 Replyrelease all guns —> playerbase spikes, everyone gets what they want in a week, playerbase falls and people complain bc of lack of content release guns thru drip —> people complain they wont get their guns instantly, however playerbase will not spike then fall all at once, instead it will have a steadily increase for a short time with tiny spikes and falls each week you see why they did what they did (the complaining happens either way)

I mean, I give Bungo crap for some of the ridiculous idiotic decisions they make, but this just does not compute. If people can't play, that's on THEM. The only difference is cosmetic and a second set of perks, there is no other difference between a roll of a normal weapon and a roll on a limited time weapon
