Drip fed content no matter if its free or paywalled is never a good thing, especially in a looter shooter, doubling down like bungie did by introducing limited timed variants is even worse -

That's not the point. These guns have Limited timed Variants/ornaments which go away on June 4th and now that everything won't be out until May 21st due to timegates the window to earn what you want is now significantly smaller. This was a stupid move.

Bracing myself for the aggression here....... Smaller initial pool. Higher chances to get what you want. By the time the new drip drops.......you can focus less (hopefully) on what you already have. An more on what you want. Bungie was going to piss someone off with however they did it. But on the bright side. It's a free content drop with re adjusted / recycled weaponry. It could have been a lot worse.

I'd say that a smaller initial pool is good if you couldn't attune to specific weapons to farm them.

It was a bad choice time gate them in general, and they're time gated in the worst way. Even letting us select 6 on week 1 and then 1 more every week would have been better while being the exact same grind for people that want all 12 And allowed people who want to make builds with 4 or 5 of the weapons to get what they want then make builds to use in all content when waiting for final shape.

Please quote where I said anything is going away. My argument from the start has been that it's stupid to spend time making 6 weapons come out at once then the rest come out 1 by 1. It took more effort to add a drop order, which people don't like, than it would have to drop all 12 at once, which would have upset no one.
