Destiny 2 PS4 Data Corruption Error

I'm not sure what's going on but it's only happening with the Destiny 2 game on my newly bought PS4 pro. My old ps4 system pretty much died so I had to rebuy another. But before it died, Destiny 2 was working perfectly fine on the older console. For the new system I had to input my info because everything was at factory setting fresh on this new system. I download Destiny 2 after an hr or 2. I don't even make it to the character screen before I get a Corrupted Data error. It's a refurbished system but it's new, I just bought it yesterday from a known game retail store. After getting the Corrupted data message I looked up some troubleshooters on why I might be getting this and what to do to fix it. Which is delete the game entirely and re-download it. Restore licenses. Or Restore Database. I've fully redownloaded Destiny 2 twice now. I've clicked on the Restore License tab before opening the game. Tried Rebuild Database. I've even Initialized the system once so far having D2 being the only game on it. None of it works... I've notice everytime I get this error, in the Installed Add-ons section, 3 of the "Required Content" add-ons get deleted after the error happens. Content 1-3 get deleted. Not only does none of this work. When I downloaded other games, those worked just fine?? So what's going on here? I play pretty often, but if I can't find a solution I might as well just give up on this game. If anyone has a solution, it would be appreciated.

The only thing that'd cause repeated data corruption problems after all those troubleshooting steps would be if your storage drive or internet have an issue. Either one could cause corruption when the files are being downloaded/installed. Refurbished isn't new, it's used/broken and given to whichever retailer you bought it from, and they supposedly fix whatever issues they think it has, then resell it. I'd suggest exchanging it at the retailer you bought it from for another refurbished one since you're having an issue that points to the storage drive possibly being faulty. Since you just got it, they should be able to exchange it for you, then you can try the new system. There is no known issues currently concerning PS4s having corrupted game files for Destiny 2. The fact that it's Destiny 2 that you only experience the issue with is coincidental. Other games may also have an issue that you don't notice or haven't experienced yet based on which files are placed on the bad spots on the drive if it has any. Destiny 2 is also an active online game, and has built-in safeguards to prevent tinkering with it if it can, so if it verifies the files upon start-up and finds an issue, that'd lead to the thing you're seeing.
