Wish Ender Quest BUGGED IN 2023 ( REALLY BUNGIE)
I have done every single step for the Hunter's Remembrance Quest, and I still cannot get the Wish Ender because when I go to the statue after the Ogre in the dungeon it still says "requires purified mementos" even though it says I have purified all 3 of them! This game is very frustrating, I have been trying to do this quest for 4 years and it is still bugged.
BUNGIE FIX YOUR GAME!

I can confirm I just went through this again in 2024. Literal years passing without a fix or workaround is insane. I wonder if they even monitor the forums.

Been working on Wish ender, glitches out for months. Keep the mission. Talk to Petra pick up her token. Re run the dungeon. Don't cleans anything just burn through. Nuke the Ogre. Talk to the statue and I just got the bow!

Can confirm in 2024 if you deleted the original character holding the awoken momento you are permanently locked out of completing the quest, even the updated one.

I had started the quest some time ago then came back to the game recently and have this issue. No memento on any character and Petra won't give it up even after removing the quest and reacquiring. Would be nice to see some sign they hear us even.

I have the same problem, but the developers have been silent on this topic for a very long time. They make unnecessary edits in the game but they score on the necessary ones and it completely sucks.

1 ReplyI have the exact same thing going on. I deleted a character without realizing it was holding the exotic kinetic item. Now I'm permanently at step 3/4, with no way to present the purified mementos to the statue in exchange for the bow. This sucks. I've checked every vendor. I've dropped the quest and reacquired it. I've deleted characters and started a totally fresh one, but the quest is account-wide so it's impossible to start back from zero. I've run that damn dungeon way too many times.

4 RepliesI completed the quest on a different character by accident than the one I picked up the awoken momento; if you did this all you need to do is dismantle the awoken momento in your primary slot on the character you picked up the momento and go pick up a new one from Petra Venj on the character you completed the quest with and then you can jump right back in to the shattered throne save spot and voila Wish Ender. Hope this helps.

The exact same thing is happening to me as well. Step 3 of 4 for "Hunter's Remembrance" is done except for the "Mementos presented" part. The statue is saying "requires purified mementos" and there's no way around it. Surprised there's no way for people to submit a ticket at this point. Just delete the quest and give me the bow at this point. This bow is far too important in end game content for bugs like this to still be happening.

I've got this quest to finish, kill the 3 enemies. I picked it up the other day and it's something like 4 steps. Do you have the new quest that I've got? Or do you have the original quest? I'm just thinking that maybe the old quest is bugged and they introduced this new shorter quest as a workaround? I'm not sure if any of this is right as I'm just come back after not playing for the past 2 and half year. Hopefully it's not bugged as I plan on doing this to get the bow and don't wanna waste my time and patience if it's bugged.

I helped a LFG a month ago and he encountered the same problem. I can confirm this is an existing bug. The Quest cannot be progressed.
