Connection based Bans
Yesterday, I was playing with a player who was obviously cheating (not appearing in my kill feed when he was killed, only when he got kills/flying around in T-crash, getting kills with his basically infinite super/no damage being done until he drops dead for me OR my fireteam), then today when I log in, I receive a messaged saying that I could be banned due to MY poor connection. My internet has been running perfectly lately, I’ve even looked at my providers outrages and there’s been none in my area recently.
My question is why am I the one being persecuted for THEIR actions?

8 RepliesEdited by Crisidelm: 7/8/2023 4:23:00 PMStaying in matches with a clear cheater could be a reason for a ban (for association) BUT the warning you received has nothing to do with it; you may get restricted for bad connection. I hope you reported the cheater, BUT you are not allowed to write his name here, there is a strict no name'n'shame rule in the forums, so delete it.
