AMD RX 6950 XT poor performance

I have recently upgraded from a Nvidia 2070s to team red with an AMD RX 6950 XT due to what seemed to be the best price/performance ratio. Unfortunately, I am very underwhelmed with the performance as I am often getting FPS drops into the 50s at points and a lot of stuttering. I am running at Highest settings @ 1440p, which I think should be easily done for this GPU. I have seen other posts talking about poor performance on AMDs since BL and was wondering if anybody had any tips to help resolve some of these issues.

  • Disable ULPS in the registry, and disable DeepSleep states using a utility like MorePowerTool

    • Have you properly uninstalled the Nvidia Drivers and THEN installed the AMD Drivers using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) ? Also check if Resizable BAR / SmartAccess Memory is enabled in the BIOS/UEFI. Lastly, I have made the experience that Depth of Field just destroys performance, disabling it solved that for me.
