The Brightdust store needs to change. It is dumb every player has to pay silver for anything at all and even more dumb to make all items cost hundreds or thousands of brightdust. Bungie needs to apologize and give every player thousands of Brightdust to compensate for the weekly nonsense over the years. it is dumb for anything to cost more than 700 Brightdust. Tomorrow we will see a new exotic emote that is 4250 Brightdust. How dumb is that? VERY DUMB. The whole thing is dumb not just because of the pricing, its that you make all the bounties that do give Brightdust barely give any. The workers need to actually do something about this. None of the workers seem to realize that when they ignore issues with the game, they get hated on by the players.

Edited by Mr Jim Lahey: 6/28/2022 6:59:55 PMMost of my friends won’t return cuz it’s too expensive. They’ll have to buy a dlc, dungeon keys, bungie 25th dlc, and the season pass lol They’ll just stick to all the other shooters which are all cheaper combined I can’t blame them
-
Then don’t play the game . It’s a hobby . That’s like arguing with black desert makers adding a ship cosmetic for 60$ is bullshit but we still buy it . Some games aren’t meant for people who don’t have a steady income . For instance pay to win games are popular and people siphon hundreds to thousands a month bec it’s a hobby and it’s excess money they have to spend .

Wrong tense my guy. "Is getting" needs to be replaced with "has been money hungry since Activision ditched them". If you only see it now, Bungie reached their goal. They have always been greedy, disrespecting players time and been absolutely scamming their dedicated fanbase.
-
*Spits out coffee* Excuse me? Getting?
-
brungie is getting money hungry
I call that desperation! Since daddy Activision left them, they can't make good games anymore!😂😂😂 Since then, they've created an animal game. Hamsters running everywhere all over the place. And skinny cows being milked over and over! 😂😂😂 Desperation!
-
emotes are overprices yeah , but other than that is fine and spoiler you don't have to buy every item in the store
-
Getting? Bro they are charging us separately for dungeons.
-
Are emotes, ships, 150 sparrows, and ghost projections THAT important to you?
-
Oh look another kid that never work and don't understand basic economics complaining about cosmetics being sold .... Bruh
-
if you play the game regularly you can buy almost everything with brightdust.

Edited by nonchalantone: 6/28/2022 11:09:48 PMThis whole "economy" is out of whack. Even legendary shards. Yes there are some of us that have hundreds of shards. But the cost to focus engrams and other things is expensive. And the means to acquire shards doesn't seem to meet the spending of them. And for newer players? Woooowee! I feel sorry for them. Just paying for EACH DLC, the dungeons, etc. It's just TOO MUCH. But we can't blame the company for whale fishing, if the whales keep biting.

Edited by Sweet Lew 88: 6/29/2022 1:18:34 AMI actually think it's fine. Most of the stuff, I don't even want. I'm cool with using my 30k dust to buy the one random thing I like, every once in a while. If you are required to buy everything, you might want to see a specialist, collecting all the digital items can't be healthy. None of that stuff is required to do well in the game, or even just to beat the game. So no one actually needs to buy it, so if it's a rip off, don't buy it?

Edited by TheShadow: 6/28/2022 11:52:03 PM
brungie is getting money hungry
Getting? Where have you been because that kicked in when D2 launched with Bungie showing how they based the game around the shop. Things were so bad that public events were more rewarding than strikes, and Bungie was using the shop as end-game content, especially when the first dawning arrived. Then when Activision was getting ready to leave, that's when things got a hell of a lot worse and that trend has been going on for 3 years now.

GETTING? Wake up ffs

Bungie has to be money hungry. Ever since Destiny 2 launch, launch was the highest logins in D2 history, and there has been a consistent and steady decline in players to this day. I won't go into reasons but you can confirm this by watching DestinyTracker.com everyday for years like me or looking up player logins by dates. DLCs used to be $40 (I will be using Canadian prices). Rise of Iron was $30. Now we are paying $60 for a DLC plus $40 for seasons and $20 for dungeons. You pay $100 for Deluxe or $120 for everything seperately. That is a huge amount compared to $40. I didn't mind paying $100 for a years worth of gaming but that is unheard of in the industry. Plus they push Eververse like no tomorrow. They know damn well how few people actually play and we can expect more and more milking of us as there won't be some magic jump in players.
