I got banned from d2 a week and 3 days ago and i had proof
I got [b]banned[/b] from d2, and i already know why. and it was cheat engine, but it wasn't for d2 (i had 1500hours into the game, had every exotic except vex so literally i wouldn't just risk it like that) and i always keep the game in the background maybe if i wanna do anything anytime cuz it takes a while to open.
What happened was, i opened YT and wanted to know how to fly in minecraft in survival mode and then i saw that cheat engine was used so i opened the vid and opened cheat engine and minecraft and then. boom, game crashed and I didn't realize until i was done with trying cheat engine on minecraft. I closed both minecraft and cheat engine after being done and wanted to play some d2, reopened d2. and it showed me i am banned. i had radeon instant replay on so it saved me. But at first i was shocked because of the ban and sent an appeal without the video and it got declined. Then made another appeal 2days after and sent the YT link of my ban video on my appeal and my ticket got declined without even seeing the video (it was on unlisted and they were the only ones who could see it and the views didn't increase even by one). I never had the intention to cheat. and also why perma ban? i would accept a month ban but went from having no bans to a perma ban without even trying to cheat in the game.
So i came here [b]MAYBE[/b] bungie would notice me and ask for a link to the video.

Bungie don't give two f*cks about us. I had Destiny 2 running in the background while playin Horizon Zero Down and I was stuck so got a trainer for HZD and yes it was my own stupidity having D2 still running and literally forgot about it, so the ban is totally my own fault, but they never notify you that you were banned, why you were banned as you can still play for a day or two before the ban happens, and they honestly have a horrible appeals process and couldn't care less what the reasons are, because they 99.9% of the time reply that they are closing the ticket and will open it again in the future if they need more info. They take your money, then ban you. I am sure the process would be a little different if consumer protection agencies allowed everybody that was banned to request full refunds. But a word to the wise. Do NOT run any software for any other game while Destiny 2 is running because you WILL lose your account and they will not bother to review it because they are convinced that their automated ban process run by a robot "that is always reviewed by a human" will take away your hours of work and all your stuff and not care f*ckall.

bro i got banned a fews ago for god only knows what like i dont have any cheats and i dont spam leave the only thing that i can think of was my name (vaginal vandal) but ive seen far worse names. i submitted and appeal saying that i changed my name and still have not gotten any reply. over 1,000 hours on pc alone and hundreds of dollars to down the drain

The forums can’t help you. Only the appeal form is how you appeal, but since that got denied you are out of options. Bungie has repeatedly warned us to be careful of the programs we run/use (especially cheats) while also having destiny on….even if the program isn’t for destiny.
