The standard form is so disgustingly ridden with sweaty dudebros- so much salt and general negativity;
All I want to talk about is how happy it makes me to see Saint and Osiris confirmed as being written with gay undertones and implied relationships.
I took a break from D2 after the Warmind DLC and coming back to Beyond Light and seeing Saint in the tower hosting Trials and brushing up on everything I missed--
It's so gratifying to be an old D1 veteran who spent hours and hours searching for ghosts and hunting lore only to piece together the bits of Jaren, Yor, and Shin-
To think to yourself "This man lost himself to find Osiris," to play the entirety of D1 being assured you would never see these two men, but know that they had something special- only to come into D2 circa Curse of Osiris, to hear the regret in Osiris' voice and see the future of Saint.
This is probably old news, a few seasons old now- but every day that I see them standing in the tower I'm reminded of all of the people who told me and my friends that Bungie would never write something like that- that it would never happen.
It feels good to be here.

I think a lot of people forget that in D1 lore, saint was supposed to kill osiris if he couldn't convince him to return to the vanguard
