I think a lot of people forget that in D1 lore, saint was supposed to kill osiris if he couldn't convince him to return to the vanguard

And how the speaker was seen as the father of Saint and Osiris, making them emotionally siblings

Do you grow up with a female best friend? All the time when you were a child you may have felt like they were your sister and you needed to protect them, only when you got older did you realize that this "sibling" mentality was actually a longing to be with that person forever. LGBT people feel those same emotions. I'm not saying that you are saying this but I feel that it is important to emphasize that LGBT relationships are not inherently sexual and that emotions are hard to explain no matter who you are.

Yes I had multiple, and no we didn't grow feelings for one another. That stuff happens in movies mostly And yeah of course it happens to the LGBT community as well, they're not a different species or anything they're just human All I'm saying is that I much preferred the brotherly angle and the idea of forging a family is just really wholesome to me. At the end of the day I'm upset how poorly handled it was, the entire reason a Bungie writer had to come out and declare their relationship on twitter was because LGBT fans in the community were claiming that Bungie was "queer baiting"

They were brothers in arms in D1 and lovers in arms in D2.
