Give fusions some love next season.
We all know everyone's opinion about the only 2 fusion rifles anyone uses in the crucible. I'm indifferent about them, kill with what you can kill with. I'd just really like to see bungie introduce at least 1 more precision and high impact frame fusion rifle each to the loot pool come next season. We have plenty of fusions that can do good in PVE but as far as legendary ones are concerned the only high impact available right now is the trials one. I've yet to see main ingredient drop for me so far this season, so correct me if I'm wrong that its still available. I know hollow words is still possible to obtain as far as precision frames are concerned. These are some of my favorite weapons to play with and I'd love to see the weapon class get a bit more attention.

13 RepliesThey gave shotguns and snipers a Champion mod, so I’m hoping fusion rifles will be next. Along with a PvE-only damage buff. Bungie also mentioned tinkering with Reservoir Burst, which is Loaded Question’s signature perk. In PvP fusion rifles can’t get much better (naturally tighter bolt spread, increased range, more damage) because players will be back to mapping opponents at crazy ranges or making [i]easy[/i] OHKs right outside of shotgun ranges. I’d like them to be better but that’s not the way to go. However one MUCH NEEDED change would be to stop making the bolts disappear after dying. That is INCREDIBLY stupid and we’ve had to deal with this problem since D1. Once the fusion rifle is charged, and you fire, the weapon’s bolts should travel whether you’ve died or not.
