Hmmmm. I gotta say... probably not. Here's why: have you noticed that a glacier grenade is physical? But when you use a void grenade on warlock or hunter, its not? Stasis is a physical element. Whereas light is not. Let's say this so it makes more sense, let's say light is energy and stasis is matter. You can touch and feel matter but not energy. If you put your hand under a light, you can feel heat, but you can't feel the energy.
Stasis is physical and light is not.

Well that makes some sense but then again in the beyond light campaign there were some shields that could only be damaged by stasis.
