Stasis shields
So since we are getting stasis legendarys next season would this mean some of our opponents would be getting shields made of stasis? Would they be making the weapons deal slow stacks? What would the lore reason for these weapons appearing be?

As for the legendary weapons, why are people so worried about this? Not every solar legendary weapon burns you. Not every legendary arc weapon shocks you. Why would legendary stasis weapons be any different than those?

But when you use a void grenade on warlock or hunter, its not? Stasis is a physical element. Whereas light is not. Let's say this so it makes more sense, let's say light is energy and stasis is matter. You can touch and feel matter but not energy. If you put your hand under a light, you can feel heat, but you can't feel the energy. Stasis is physical and light is not. But this is only a theory. Technically we've already encountered 2 stasis sheilds. 2 of the empire hunt bosses during the campaign have sheilds that can only be taken down with stasis.

1 ReplyIt would be cool, but I forsee an issue with the modifier Match game if they would implement it. Unless it'll take up the kinetic slot.

Stasis weapons can’t come soon enough, pairing a stasis weapon with thresh with warlock battle harmony chest piece and on stasis subclass and using the font mods will be very nice. Hopefully they freeze enemies after certain amount of damage is dealt. I wouldn’t expect stasis shields though cos most of the shields have been set already, perhaps some enemies in the story missions will or any new content that arrives but wouldn’t expect them to retroactively change anything that’s already in the game.
