You can never stop all cheating.
But you can make the consequences of getting caught more expensive.

Edited by 123TheCloop: 2/5/2021 3:57:33 AMthen you clearly havent played Siege or CSGO..... never stopped them, its called "money" all they will do is charge more for the carries to include the cost of buying the DLC's lol walling F2P users its just a lazy and a stop gap solution that has proven to not work.
-
Reread what I said. You can’t stop it. You can make it more expensive.

Edited by 123TheCloop: 2/5/2021 4:10:38 AMread what I just said..... I literally responded to your "make it expensive" by literally saying "all they will do is charge more for the carries to include the cost of buying the DLC's" oh and btw, if lets say you pay wall the content, how do you determine the cost and what the cost is included in? because including the "extra" cost into the base DLC like BL or Forsaken means bungie would have to charge more for the DLC out right, guess what that means. yh legit buyers get screwed as they now have to pay more for the DLCs. Take me for instance, I bought the DLC but do you think for one minute ill spend "more" on the DLC to access to trials that I dont even touch. yh exactly, see what it means to pay wall content now, cost has to be added to somewhere and it means something goes up in price.

So your theory is the only cheaters are those who do paid carries. Any actual data on that? And of course they don’t need to raise the prices to put certain things back behind the paywall.

Edited by 123TheCloop: 2/5/2021 4:13:19 AMany data on "all F2P" users cheating then. no you dont have data on it either. so if you want to try that argument i can literally reverse it on your own.
any data on "all F2P" users cheating then. no you dont have data on it either. so if you want to try that argument i can literally reverse it on your own.
Point to where I said all F2P users cheat. It is, however, clearly a problem on PC. One way to reduce the problem is to make it more expensive to get caught. Your idea that anything that doesn’t work 100% isn’t worth doing is ridiculous.

Edited by 123TheCloop: 2/5/2021 4:27:21 AMpay walling F2P users means "all" its literally implied by suggesting that F2P users be paywalled off from trials. you dont have to say it to imply it when F2P term means "everyone" because it would literally effect every F2P user.
-
pay walling F2P users means "all" its literally implied by suggesting that F2P users be paywalled off from trials.
Reading isn’t your thing, is it? That doesn’t mean I’m say all F2P players cheat. But it will reduce the cheating. Learn to think.

Edited by 123TheCloop: 2/5/2021 4:36:36 AM

That doesn’t mean I’m say all F2P players cheat. But it will reduce the cheating.
to spell it out for you, by blocking of "all F2P users" your implying that the majority of "F2P" users are cheaters because "you assume" it will reduce cheating. again "imply" is a strong term, you might want to learn what it means when you make statements and then call "data" when you dont have the data to your own claims. hope that helps you think a little. :)

The only way for reinstating the paywall not to reduce cheating is if zero F2P players cheat, genius. You, on the other hand, said reinstating the paywall wouldn’t make cheating more expensive because those who do paid carries will just raise the price to compensate. Which does imply that the only cheaters are those doing carries—otherwise the paywall would make it more expensive to cheat.

why can you not understand what is being said..... introducing a pay wall will not solve the issue because those burner accounts can easily convert to "buy to play" accounts to circumvent the pay wall requirement, every game has this same issue, siege especially.
why can you not understand what is being said..... introducing a pay wall will not solve the issue because those burner accounts can easily convert to "buy to play" accounts to circumvent the pay wall requirement, every game has this same issue, siege especially.
So now you’re saying all of the cheaters will pay up, risking losing their money if they get caught? Or are you back to the childish idea that if it’s not 100% effective it’s not worth doing?
-
Edited by 123TheCloop: 2/5/2021 5:03:06 AMomfg....... its clear you havent played any other comp game to even realise how boosting services work, im not entertaining your dumb logic on this. ban F2P users from trials and I can bet you will still see cheaters to the extent you see them now. seriously just stop man.
omfg....... its clear you havent played any other comp game to even realise how boosting services work, im not entertaining your dumb logic on this. ban F2P users from trials and I can bet you will still see cheaters to the extent you see them now. seriously just stop man.
Sure, kid. Because if it doesn’t eliminate cheating 100%, it’s not worth doing. Because all of the people cheating are running paid recovery services and will just raise their prices.
-
.......... you clearly havent came across paid accounts then have you? or played siege with this exact issue of "high level accounts" cheating because they are bought accounts being used to cheat.

Edited by 123TheCloop: 2/5/2021 4:29:22 AMdo you understand what the word "imply" means, when you want F2P users to be blocked off from trials that EFFECTS EVERY F2P user. so literally by the term your using, it means "everyone" so try again.
