Been playing D2 since vanilla, and Crucible has always been a difficult area to balance. Usually there's a really strong set of weapons and some crazy armor exotics (lmao original one eyed mask) - but Stasis has just been a game breaker for me in general. I've switched platforms a few times since the game's release so I no longer bother with making 3 characters, I just play Warlock now on PC. It genuinely feels like there is no way to truly combat stasis abilities in Crucible. Sure, you can get lucky and out-gun *some* abilities, but the shatter dive/slide and Squall cast so quickly I don't see any counters. Granted - I am not a pro player by any means, but it feels like the actual gunplay of Crucible is auxiliary to the ridiculously capable stasis effects...

What is hard to counter in stasis? Stasis honestly made it easier to counter ridiculously op things like mk. 44 stand asides with fell winters. Or cheaters on a sniper blocking a lane. This isn't me trying to be rude, but maybe this would be a good time to go check out the guy a posted a link to up top, or ascended nomad if you haven't already. (This isn't supposed to be a "get gud" kind of comment. Just trying to suggest changing a few things specifically against stasis)

Pvp is so frustrating now that if I were to say what I really feel when I try to play non meta abilities, I would be banned from this forums. PvP is trash right now.

Haven’t used stasis since first couple of weeks of the season, top tree Dawnblade is still king for Warlocks. However, no PvP mode on any game should have freeze/stop abilities period. -
They mentioned this imbalance in the twab yesterday. Do you want me to link it?
