Rather than mothball Mercury, why not sell it to me?
Rest assured the planet with be in good hands with me.
I have plans to turn it into an amusement park. It circular area is ideal for a sparrow racing track. The Vex rings could be repositioned with more added to create an aerial roller-coaster, sending guardians on an exhilarating ride through the sky. And of course the Infinite Forest would make a superb Holodeck for guardians to practice their skills at surviving games like say... seeing how many rounds of enemy waves you can survive with no ammo spawns or... a gauntlet like in Menagerie, but longer and with Cyclops cannons shooting at you.
I'd have to rename Mercury though, for advertising purposes.
I'd call it Quixoticland. Or Coot's Place in the Sun. The boys in marketing are still doing brand name testing with focus groups.
Anyways, how much to buy Mercury, Bungie?

I'd prefer venus or earth honestly. I like the greenery, lakes and the mountains with the iron lord's temple. The view is gorgeous.
