      • It worked so well in the beginning of D2. I'd hate to go back to the mass whining about "I can't even use my Super in PvP without some Hunter tether shutting me down! Wahhhh!" though, because somehow using your Super to shut one down is way worse than going on a killing spree with one.

        • I run top tree pretty regularly and we need to stop being crybabies. Yes I've seen people skip through what I felt was a good tether shot (reasonable amount of leading) and yes it's annoying. However the reason we run it in PvP is for the invis on dodge + the ability to practically spam it every 10 seconds + combine it with gamblers dodge to have a nearly guaranteed escape in any situation. Plus the smoke is super effective and has proximity detonation. It's absolutely top tier even with the underwhelming super. Buffing the super to activate immediately or tether more strongly would make it the dominant meta for hunters. As is it now, it's great and the super keeps it somewhat balanced. If you want an amazing super, use middle tree and give up constant invis - it's a fair tradeoff.

          • There 1 problems, 1. We gonna have everyone crying hunter is easy class and OP which lead bungie to nerf things to the ground making it worse than it was before the buff. And 2nd, I dont see them buffing anything unless they forcing the players to play certain way or chase a meta. Ever since the go fast update. We have been getting the go slow and nerf update. Yes there are things that are clearly good, but more than half of the other stuff we have from abilities to guns to exotics are just useless lol

          • There shouldn't be a delay on it period. If it directly hits an opponent or if an enemy steps in range the Tether should be instant and the opponent's Aim should be thrown off as well.

                The only issue is its activation as you said. Some one had a good answer of it giving it a suppression wave on impact. range of suppression should parody other classes in the least(13.5m). I know lets give it dune marcher range(20m) and have it ignore walls and ceilings which it also does! JK, they will fix that object detection some day. Its deff annoying when spec blades and icarus dash can avoid the tether even if the impact zone is less then an inch from them.

              • Now I agree with this statement. Its activation is slower than anything in this game. My other problems with are the tracking of the actual shot. My statement about it is simple. Either give me tracking or don't, this in between crap has ruined most of my shots with it. Also when a tether enemy is killed (PvE and PvP) that should could as a super kill. It drives me mad when I get a bounty that says get kills with supers.

                Needs an overhaul. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen opponents just walk out of it or kill me while I come back from the animation after they’ve been hit. It doesn’t shut down supers quick enough either. The Scorn almost have a better tether. Yeah, tether sucks but the subclass at least has some perks worth using.
