This is the cold truth of the state of pvp. I understand Bungie trying to make this game fun but when you start to remove the challenge it becomes less fun. Just because your team can design a great game doesent mean they have the competitive experience to balance that game. You need to be bringing in outside expertise from people who play at such a high skill level and experience to help you reign the game in.
There’s such great pvp feedback out there from great pvp players that would make the crucible so much better, but Bungie has this problem of thinking because the make the game that they know best. I’m sorry but I don’t think anyone at Bungie understands pvp in a competitively balanced level than people like Cammy or CoolGuy or TV. They play pvp for hours everyday at high levels, the people at Bungie only play pvp during their work hours let alone if they even play D2 at all.

Bungie did that once. It was called "vanilla Destiny 2"....and it nearly destroyed the franchise. The player base---including most PvP players----HATED it. Yet Cammy went down swinging about how much he felt that vanilla D2s version of PVP was the ideal form of FPS PvP. Even as player enagement across the game was plummeting....and Bungie was in a mad scramble to save the game and the company. Lesson? Streamers are not gamers....they are BUSINESS owners. Most of them use (abuse) their platforms to advocate for what in in the best interest of their BUSINESS. Not for what is in the interest of the game as a whole, or the wider community. So don't confuse what they want.....with what is in the interests of the game. Bungie made that mistake (twice), and it cost them DEARLY.
