Destiny 1 is still the better Destiny.
The only good things that came out of Destiny 2 were ledge grabbing and unlimited sprint. THAT'S IT!

Been playing more Original Destiny. Met a lot of new friends that gave up on d2. The tower is chock full of level 5 and 10's it's great to see

Destiny 2 is better than D1 Ever was. Just because D1 is Nostalgic doesnt make it good.

2 RepliesFactions, skeleton keys + more strike exclusives, gunsmith packages, vendor refreshes, raid rotations with [i]earnable[/i] ornaments, hard mode raids with exclusive weapons, raid gear with intrinsic raid-exclusive perks, shaders not being consumed on use... D1 did so many good things that are somehow missing from D2.

As little as D1 had, for as long as it had, it was better and one of the biggest reasons is, it was fun, it didn't have a grind till much later and it was still kind of fun cause even that grind wasn't as grindy as this grind. Like they expect me to grind for glowing armor... Really??? REALLY??? Not sure how they lost all concept of fun but it seems they have.

13 RepliesDo yourself a favor and don't pay any attention to the people trying to troll you. Management/WoW guy have royally screwed things up since Forsaken. Everyone has there opinion about both games, but the things that made destiny what it was about that this game does not have is a major issue. In fact, this game is broken that this company doesn't know where to go with it nor do they have the manpower to even handle it. Just to list somethings that worked for destiny that are broken in this game? 1. The #1 issue in this game is how the loot system is designed that favors the shop. 2. The "RNG" 3. The leveling system 4. The infusion system 5. Progress 6. Replayable content The game is way over micro-managed to control how the players play the game, and this company constantly keeps making dumb decisions like trials for this event.

1 ReplyDestiny 1 is better in a lot of ways, which is why I play that game instead. 1. Strikes 2. Factions 3. Vendors 4. PvP gunplay, ammo economy and maps 5. Armor aesthetics 6. Rewards system

Travel system is also better now. So is the weapon system. Also the story is better. We have actual in game lore like ppl asked for in D1.

It was / is clear that D1, for all its flaws, was crafted with passion, heart and soul. D2 is not. That it is going pretty much full blown F2P should worry you all. I'm pretty certain that the lack of quality you have all come to expect from this greed driven dress sim is nothing compared to the dross that will be coming.

I logged back on D1 a few days back and felt like crap going back to D2, the armor , the guns, the strikes ..... D2 seemed so washed out tbh .
