Yes. It was created for Activision profits. If bungie really was cash hungry they would make a d3. The fact that they are implementing all this old content into D2 for free just shows that they are trying to reach their original idea of one huge game. D2 was forced by Activision, it’s called a contract.

Are you new light? F2p? I have $240 into Destiny 2 without talking about how many ornaments, ships, sparrows, ect I bought from Eververse in 3 years. Deluxe content every time, preorder every time. $100 Vanilla, $70 Forsaken, $70 Beyond Light. The only reason D2 is f2p is to get new players hooked into playing to become paying customers. Like a drug dealer that gives away the first hit, gets you addicted, then charges you whatever because now you are hooked. Bungie intends to get f2p players to buy content and or cosmetics

Edited by bferguson6031: 8/18/2020 11:22:53 PMNo, I’ve been playing since right before TTK, I just understand that D2 wasn’t wanted by bungie. I bought every expansion except for the Forsaken season pass.

Nailed it perfectly.

I paid $100 for Vanilla D2, paid $70 for Shadowkeep, just paid $70 for Beyond Light.... yeah $240 for D2 so far.

Simple, because I enjoy playing.... even with the flaws
