Solstice is not good
It’s the same old stuff. Grind this. Do that. Kill them. It’s boring. You try and compete it any decent amount of time yet half the things require other people to be doing them too so you just get -blam!- by some blueberry. It’s old Bungie.

It's Bungie at their worst. Right now I have to repeat the same dumbass adventure on Mercury 5 times because I've done all the others long ago and they are no longer on my map.

2 RepliesI honestly don't get what the issue is, don't like it, don't do it. I, like so many others, don't like being forced to do PVP just to keep a small percentage of the players happy or being served up as fodder for the cheats. I don't cry about it in the forums though, I just do other stuff if I don't feel like PVP'ing. SoH doesnt stop you doing the normal everyday stuff you have been doing so what's the actual complaint? I feel like I'm in Gulliver's Travels except I'm an adult in a land full of crying babies drowning in salty tears.

Sad thing is, I remember when I first played it, it was kind of fun, platforms and high and low and hidden spaces but it got old very fast because... there is no story there. It was like last DLC, throw the ball at the other ball to get some stuff to give to Rasputin but that had some story if not fully fleshed, but the ball throwing was so pointless. That's kind of what SOH is like. They could make it cooler but I think they're busy working on something else... Doesn't "Matter."

At least if someone like Chris Barrett or Scott Taylor were the lead things would most likely be a little better. Edit: Just curious, what is there to collect as far as a ship, a sparrow, or anything else without spending money or bright dust at the shop running this event?

You clearly have not done that past two years of solstice. The past two were the same for the same set of armor just an updated version. Every event is the same that’s what you do. Grind the same activity every year at least they updated the armor this year.

You barely could get high stat rolls for the armor, the rng is awful with the loot box. Another waste of time.
