I think it would be cool so that everyone could experience the content without having to worry about using lfg and whatnot especially if they prefer to run just with their friends or by themselves. To keep it fair, it could be made so that raid gear/weapons can only be obtained if you complete it with the original 6 man FT version, and not if you run the smaller team versions
That way everyone could experience the content, but only the 6 man FT’s can get the good stuff as rewards, and the smaller teams just get stuff similar to the end of a strike/nightfall

Well Raids can be fun. Personally I hate that super mario platforming parts but the rest is fine. And they are fine with 6 person. Still just a low percentage does raids. I think it's more a problem of accessibility. Finding 6 people which have time, not very well self explaining, raids not programmed to be able to use matchmaking, toxic lfg, in some counties barley anyone uses lfg. That's all reason why so less people play raids. Solution should be a way better accessibility to raids. Numbers don't lie.

Since Luke Smith is a big WoW fanboy I dont understand why hes doesnt incorporate a tiered raid system. Normal: Not too mechanic heavy w/ LFG...so players can atleast take part in the conclusion of the DLC. Hard: added mechanics with better rewards. Mythic/Grandmaster : w/ the best rewards, ornaments, unique armors and yada..yada..yada. As of right now, under 10% of the playerbase completes raids.

Raids have never made sense to me because in the promotional material leading up to the first Destiny and the story emphasis on fire teams of 3 it's just weird to suddenly need 3 more players when we spend the majority of time leveling and grinding in small teams. Personally, I wish Bungie would stop making Raids and instead just give us 2 Dungeons per expansion. Bungie can still do great scenery, platforming, puzzles, and massive bosses with just 3 players. Dungeons are just more manageable and straight to the point.

I’d prefer more dungeons rather than some butchered version of a raid.

I agree as I think more people can get into raids moreso if they were 3 Man made. That's why I look forward to Outriders because you have the option to solo, duo or team up as 3 to do all content...but its not mandatory. Definitely I see this as a plus for those who don't have 100+ friends. Maybe Bungie will adopt this for Destiny 2 as an alternate option and still allow Fireteams of 3 to get all the loot as well as 6. FYI - Dungeons Don't Count! -
I like raids being a 6 person activity. We could use another dungeon or 2 though. We already have 2 that are taken themed and a hive themed... would like to see something maybe Fallen, Scorn, Cabal, or even Devil Splicer / Siva themed.

Edited by Swiftlock: 7/9/2020 2:33:47 AMSo... you want more Dungeons. Which is fair. The dungeons are great. But don't abolish 6-man raids. They are some of the best experiences you'll have in Destiny when everyone is working together. Endgame challenges should require you to go out of your comfort zone.
-
So.. Find 5 friends for the stuff 6 man teams get.. Lol Its not fair raids require 6 ppl? 😂
-
I am all for having raids for solo players or 3 man groups. Just remove all enemies and loot and let them walk through all encounters and learn the mechanics.
-
That’s what dungeon are...
-
literally what dungeons are for
-
The dungeons , the activity your looking for is the dungeons.
-
They are called dungeons.

Edited by Sweet Lew 88: 7/9/2020 1:21:32 AMYou can experience the raid on YouTube. If you think it might be fun. Then you can take what you learned and find people you want to play with. What's holding you up from playing with others?
-
Dungeons fill this role but I think each dungeon should take place in the same arena as the raid or be related to the raid.
-
What? The biggest part of raids is the teamwork and figuring out mechanics together. Lowering the difficulty also makes no sense as the current raids dont even have a heroic difficulty.
-
Nah, keep raids 6 man, but make 2 dungeons for every raid and make the dungeons relate in someway to the raid

I always thought each week should have a rotating raid encounter that was match made with a small preview before it starts to teach people the raid over time in small chunks
-
Endgame content should require endgame effort
-
Have you considered trying out a dungeon
-
That's what the dungeons are. They're all pretty cool.
-
Raids can already be completed by teams less than 6 and some of encounters can be done solo through and through
-
literally dungeons
-
I like the idea of a 6 player raid but I also think that Dungeons should outnumber Raids. Not the other way around... If we had 2 Dungeons for every Raid I think that'd be a happy balance.
-
Thats where Dungeons come in. Also, we've raided together before havent we....? 🤔
