After the Live Stream promoting their next 3 expansions I was hyped and immediately pre-ordered like an idiot.
Trials changes were after a major TWAB that was supposed to heavily fix things, it is worse lol.
Sunsetting Weapons - I gave Bungie the benefit of the doubt but when I saw my Gnawing Hunger as an exact reissue I lost it!
Sunsetting Gear - No reason for this at all
Solstice Armor promised to be 2.0 ready was immediately useless.
Mods and elemental affinity - Trying to find which mod goes on which piece of armor, let alone the proper affinity, is beyond frustrating.
Not a peep from Bungie on Sunsetting or Trials and every time they touch something, it gets worse. I have lost what little trust I had in Bungie and until I see major changes, not hear about them, I will not be preordering anything.

Edited by FdYAcsoyPKN83gLE: 7/7/2020 2:23:44 AMSunsetting is what gives us amazing legendary weapons like Falling Guillotine! How are we going to balance them anyway without them taking the top spot forever? It's not a system we like, but it's one we need. STOP CRYING! It's going to last only for a year, and that's enough time! Besides Bungie is not taking it away from you, child! So go off, and create experiences, not slavish devotions to weapons! I don't play Destiny for the weapons, I play Destiny for the gunplay and atmosphere! Destiny is a looter shooter, not a looter hoarder! Just relax, Destiny 2 has sunsetted before! Why complain as usual? Destiny 2 has sunsetted TWICE because they made your Y1 weapons and 1.0 armour obsolete. Have you ever used them? Also, Destiny is a grinding game, and have you played games that reuse content before? Like have you played any game ever in history? Just don't play Destiny 2, your brain can only complain about statement so simple! Bungie.net is so toxic! All you do is harass people! We direct other users away from you! PU PU PU PU! Like DeeJ said, starve the villains! obefie]fho[ew]kof\2jhgirhj0k2djei[fiwndj\1oqwcindb f

People STILL preorder?
-
Exactly! First time I vote with my money and refuse to support an expansion until well after I see the reviews and systems in place myself.
-
If only the entire playerbase for this dying game would just wake up and join you or just wait and see, then perhaps we might actually see some change in Direction, but there are still too many fanboys and streamers that have too much faith in Bungo to have that happen. So IMO, it's peace out September 21,2020. Good luck to those who stay, also of you wait and see the dlc just maybe like $30 by Xmas if not sooner
-
The only way to seriously force change is to not buy the expansion. Take a little time. We love the game. It’ll be for the better. We can’t keep complaining and keep paying. If nobody pays, they’re forced to drastically change what they’re doing, and then some, just to drag us all back. Protest 2020. Including the disservice done to us Guardians!
-
Agreed. Sunsetting is dumb, mods should be able to be slotted anywhere within reason and element affinity has to go. But they won't do any of it.
-
I can guarantee you with 100% certainty that Bungie does not care. I'm not even trying to be a jerk either. It's just the way the video game industry is.
-
Edited by OMC-SWEDE: 7/6/2020 5:25:03 PMThis game has a long history of decline an no improvements. Who here believes that a year from now this forum won't remain same toxic as now? Bungie listens not to this forum, but to twitchers. Special Twitch bounty!?....are you f-cking kidding me?
-
I mean Bungie is a bunch of fringe far leftist Americans. Shouldn't of trusted them in the first place.
-
Honestly, there's a lot of small fixes they can do too! Shader re-work Vault tabs/sorting/placeholders auto-dismantle the leveling system and the endless bounties that could be fixed.

Between Vanilla and D2 I've got around 5.6k hours in this franchise, I won't lie I do enjoy it but even me, has had enough, I'll play out what I've payed for then I'm out. It's a shame, I love the gun play but f*ck me It's hard to find a developer, even with Ubisoft trying their best as well, that's doing more to prove live service games shouldn't be a thing, the ambition was there but the delivery was found wanting, don't get me wrong, I believe the Autumn expansion will be v.good, outstanding even but I've seen nothing in the last 6 years that will convince me the cycle of great content then dross to follow until the next big expansion will ever change, the crucible is a joke, the pathetic response to cheating was embarrassing, SBMM wasn't great but after the sh*t show that IB has been I'd rather go back to SBMM and take my chances over a poor connection, but lets be honest with a P2P system it's obvious that Bungie for all it says doesn't really take PvP seriously either so we can't really complain too much. They had their chance and they f*cked it up, time to move on.
-
This game is setup just like a free to play game with microtransactions yet it costs the same as a normal game expansion. I used to love this game, it's now a joke. Everything new is recycled yet we have to pay for it again. Never again will bungie see my money.
-
"Making content is hard"
-
Anyone who has pre ordered after a 90 second video an the year this game has just had are krazy, they have failed at every step this year, we've seen nothing that's coming content wise all we know is what we are losing an that's an awful starting place already for this DLC.
-
They said raid armor cap was bumped up. All my raid armor/weapons are capped at 1060. Haven't done a raid since they made that announcement but i really don't feel like re grinding for armor I already have.
-
You’ve lost so much trust and still playing today? All these pleas for attention by threatening loss of trust and no preorders is pretty much moot when you keep playing. Not a very convincing strategy for change by shaking your fist at people you dislike, while still being a part of them. No wonder Bungie would look at posts like this as an empty promise or threat. See you next expansion!
-
For all the people who say, oh they say this now but they'll back in September, I'm with this guy, and most of us will probably download on launch, realise we can't do anything, and then immediately delete.
-
either have faith or quit that simple i have faith might take 5 more years but im a fan and love this game
-
I just pre-ordered and I’m excited for the new season. Can’t wait! 👍❤️🙂🎉
-
All y’all say that, then come back buy the dlc play it then say “Wow this so amazing!”. Go through the Annual Pass and complain, then the cycle continues.

Edited by Krausladen: 7/7/2020 1:58:40 AMSunsetting is necessary for this reason: Stat rolls that are years old. People are playing crucible with the same gear they've had for literal years. The only issue I see with sunsetting is legendary ornaments. I think having them in the first place was a mistake. Ornaments should remain exclusive to exotics. Sunsetting only applies to legendary gear. Your exotic gear collection is the only gear collection that should matter. I don't understand why sunsetting legendary gear has everyone miffed. It makes no sense to me. If you were going to try and show off your legendary gear collection to anyone, I'd be like, who tf cares, even if it is all maxed out. I really think the long term collection emphasis should be on exotics and exotics only, which are not being sunsetted. Some will be rare as hell to see in a few years, but the people collecting it all today will be able to show it all off years down the road. Your legendary gear though? No one will care.
-
They really hit the nail on the head with this season's new weapons. Temptations hook, false promises, hollow words, cold denial, and falling guillotine.
-
Solstice Armor promised to be 2.0 ready was immediately useless.
Yeah I'm still miffed about that. And I'll be d*mned if I go chasing it again. Make the whole set armor ornaments and be done with it.
-
Yes agreed... I have sunset my $$$ to bungie
-
This is still better then borderlands 3 by far
