Sunsetting takes away incentive to masterwork

Why would anyone ever masterwork anything anymore if you can't use it after a certain amount of time? Its just a waste of materials. Edit: Learning that the armor from last wish and garden are coming forward (along with some others) it doesn't make it as bad... BUT, it still doesn't solve the fact that we can't put certain mods on those armor sets. Let us put any mod on any armor, get rid of the elements, make all mods universal!

  • The only argument I see against this is okay you like your Seasons of Arrival set, you masterwork it, bam done, you have a year as of now to get those materials back, which quite frankly if given the patience, takes a week to do. This is not including that you like the new set of armor that comes out in a later season and want to masterwork that (with transmog I guess this incentive will change... my thoughts as I type) The transition will be rough but I see sunsetting as a healthy change to the game. Now my only problem as of right now is the reissuing of weapons with absolutely no new perk pools. Like I have a bite of the fox I used for close to a year before Revoker but why do I have to get that roll again. That is my biggest frustration
