Hey fellas so I just got anarchy running scourge and I’m hyped to use it. Just wanted to ask how does it perform in this sandbox, and what are some good pairings with it? I am thinking mountaintop anarchy, and something like trophy hunter with vorpal plus anarchy. Thank you.

Edited by Kiro - 13: 5/28/2020 9:20:40 PMIf you ever plan to do Crown of Sorrow my man you will be the clutch for the third event. It still glitches out this fight, I have heard it will always remain this way because Crown bungie did say was tuned around auto loading wells. So people have said they will likely leave Anarchy's melee damage as is vs re-tune that raid encounter. And yes if other people pop into to read this and wondered if third phase cheese still works with this season(as i was not sure either since anarchy change) it does.

My anarchy is vaulted in favor of xenophage.

A good trophy hunter and anarchy or mountaintop and anarchy are some of the best DPS thi NV s in the game, because of the DOT you can just shoot of 2 shots and lock down a area in lower lever activities and in higher ones you can hit multiple enemies and retreat without receiving damage and still doing it. It really good against barriers because you can do that damage and take down the barrier at the same time

It's bad arse. One of my favorite weapons tbh. Took me around 100 sotp clears to get it. It's a beast.

Shoot 2 anarchy Switch to mountain top (if you have one)
-
Anarchy is amazing with Mountaintop. Just make sure you only fire 2 anarchy shots because damage doesn’t really go up after 2. And anarchy in PvP, while not that practical is really fun.
-
Pro tip: you max out damage by sticking a Target with 2 grenade shots. More will not increase damage. Use with MT or a good sniper or shotgun.

I like to pair it with a fusion that has high impact reserves. For best results use a rapid fire frame with charge time masterwork, accelerater coils, and hir. The only draw back is some times the bolts cause the anarchy grenades to explode. Snipers cause the best dps but require all head shots, fusions are 2nd, shotguns/lightweight grenade launchers are 3rd.

2 anarchy shots every 10 seconds and mountain top is very good dps

I don't really care what pairs with it, so I can't help you there, but it's still one of the strongest weapons in this sandbox. Probably won't be when Bungie decides to have another nerfgasm though.

Edited by Kiro - 13: 5/28/2020 2:08:06 AMYou missed out, use to be god tier. got recently nerfed. Yet they could not fix divinity still making the rounds bounce off... typical Bungie nerf it before fixing it...... Pairs well with Perfect Paradox. Chest slot of grenade launcher reserve and heavy weapon reserves max out the reserve amount for Anarchy while giving Perfect Paradox 1 short of max reserves unless you got the god roll with field prep then its max reserves. Perfect Paradox, Not Forgotten, Anarchy is my favorite PvE load out. Does a good job at cracking some heads and even has enough stopping power to kill master rank champions with out their corresponding modifier mods. I know none of those weapons are exactly in a garden variety guardian's weapon cache, but they mesh well if you got them. & if you dont have a Perfect Paradox a curated Threat Level does the trick.

you are able to bully any boss encounter literally
-
You just use anarchy as a DoT weapon and swap to something else while the DoT's run. Then when they run out swap to refresh.
-
Do Mountaintop and Anarchy. I normally stick a few Anarchy shots on the ground and one on the target. Find some void gauntlets with GL loader, large arms loader, or enchanted GL loader and Mountaintop will serve you well.

If you’ve got actium warrig or hunter dodge xeno out damages it, if you don’t it’s better though
-
All I've done with it is draw shapes on people while hovering over with Lion Rampart

In order to best utilize Anarchy at least in my experience, you need to make sure you hit two shots on the body and one on the ground or another surface next to whatever enemy you’re trying to kill. I play a lot of Gambit and this thing is perfect for melting Primevals in Gambit Prime, since the ammo economy in this weapon is hilariously underrated (but in a good way). If I have only six shots in the chamber, I can melt a primeval to about 2/3 maybe half if I have a little help with a WoR. Getting all the way up to 26 grenades is more than enough for melting a boss, in any activity, just make sure you play it right. I personally wouldn’t recommend it for doing anything like Garden of Salvation, or anything with long range encounters, but it melts just about anything else in the game.

I couldn't tell you, 53 SoTP and I still dont have it. Everyone I ever ran that raid has it it and because of that they dont want to run it anymore. I watched at least 20 people get it by their 5th clear. Half of those on their first or second. 1 guy got 5 of them by 42 raids. I hate this game

Currently, Anarchy/Mountaintop continues to be one of the best pairings in the game, but a good Triple Tap sniper can also take its place. The thing about Anarchy by itself is that even though it is not the highest straight DPS in the game, it is BY FAR the highest total damage in the game.

A great DPS weapon, but not the best in the game.

Anarchy Mountaintop combo is still deadly. TH Anarchy will be interesting. Anarchy is good because it is able to deal a good amount of DPS over time while using another weapon.
Words from someone who hasn’t done SOTP -_-
