Trials is a trash heap of sweats, psycopaths and cheaters and its causing people to quit the game for good.

I noticed he was using astral but was playing like a scrub and spamming summoner around corners... so I looked up his trials history and found literally hundreds of matches between all 3 characters with the classic “wins with no score” scenario. His teammates were all his clan members so it wasn’t a lfg/carry/paid carry. What’s new to me is that the opposing team also had clan members and they would just swap players between winning teams. There were even times they had up to 6 players on one team. Needless to say that I filled out a long form report and messaged the guy back telling him to let his clan mates know that they’ve been made and let them know it’s his fault for running his mouth.

2 RepliesI think this week in particular is extremely rough. I was able to obtain a flawless once on my Hunter and, once on my Warlock and, I yet have to snag it on my Titan. It wasn’t necessarily the sweat-fest for me... it was the campy play-style everyone resorted to. Get one pick, push, and finish it up. Next round. Sounds quick on paper but that took the whole round every game. I felt every match would take forever to end. I despised the amount of times that no one would peak ANYTHING. Both parties were always a stalemate until ONE team made that simple mistake. This week, there was no real way of playing “smart.” It was all HOLD MIDDLE AND SPAM THE DAMN DOOR WITH YOUR AUTOS. It made it extremely frustrating. Especially when every round would end in capping the zone. If you genuinely want to play Trials this weekend, just play for fun... or at least try to...

PvE and poorly written story is what drive me off personally but at least PvP seems to finally be waking up to how Garbage D2 PvP is.

14 RepliesSynopsis of trials this week: Played 8 games total for a quick flawless run. Ran into sweat after sweat after sweat, which led to 4 matches that we won 5-4. I thought to myself, man I should really be rewarded for playing so many incredible teams and coming out on top. Total rewards for the card: One helmet and an ascendent shard.... bungie wtf. Win rewards are more broken than ever after your poor attempt at a patch, and since I reset my card before turning in my tokens, I cant even turn them in now without winning “3 games” even though I just went flawless. I would be shocked if bungo could find a way to mess up trials even more.

This game has so many issues now and the fact they added a new problem with trials this game wont be fixed. This game is a meme of destiny 1. Destiny 2. Is . A . Meme.

I'm sure you will get to the lighthouse eventually but I do think there should be random trials theamed drops after matches like we had in destiny 1 where those who take part get old trials armor or weapons would be at least something for those who take part and also an incentive and give them something to go for. As for rewards from the chest for going flawless are a bit shabby to be honest one armor part and an Ascendent shard and glimor which to be honest is a bit of a joke by bungie as sparrow and ghost should be included in a random drop or at least an extra weapon should drop in the chest.

103 RepliesBefore forsaken. Bungie the game is boring with only 2 primaries..bring back special weapons. After forsaken...bungie nerf special weapons they are too powerfull... In season of oppulance...bungie please give us more modes like menagery...it is the best activity... Last and this season....bungie stop it with the menagery ripoffs.. we had enough of them. Last 2 seasons Bungie bring back trials...it is the only thing that will save this game. This season...bungie trials is ruining this game. Clearly the players are the reason the game is bad and not bungie...because they listen to the players by adding these things.

I looked forward to trials but it's nothing but Flawless carries by streamers, cheaters and try-hards all using invisible hunters, Titans shoot-through shields with shoulder charge, and one shot weapons or Hardlight spammers while camping for an angle. It's not fun like it used to be at all! I went from playing glory 5500 ranked players all the time to not being able to win 2 consecutive games in a row in trials. Some people think your joking when you say people are quitting but it's true. I've never uninstalled this game since D1 beta. But I can tell you I am extremely close to it. The story is still shit with dead ends that never make an impact, pve that is dreadfully boring and refuse to do another minute of it and PvP that is forever imbalanced with subclasses and weapons favored to select subclasses and play-styles. If my final 3 members stop playing I'm uninstalling this game. It's already hard for them to get me on, even for trials. And I can see they're severely slowing down their game time with D2 as well. If the uninstall happens I'm not getting D3 or any other D2 dlc. The game is still completely lost with no direction.

Most the people I play against are better then me but from the thousands of arse beatings I took in D1 i've learned how to counter just about every play style.... i've also learned just about every cheesy spot and tactic lol. Just gotta keep pressing forward and learning what playstyle works best for you and find teammates with similar playstyles then go from there. Team work makes the dream work.

1 ReplyListen. The really good 0layers are going into trials and you are getting stomped by them. I know this because I'm not that great at pvp. Well not anymore. Since I stopped playing for a long time. Trials is a high skill competitive playlist. And I know it's hard not to be able to get some gear others have because you cant face high skilled people but trials was the right move on bungie. If you want the loot then practice your craft. Or see if someone is generous enough for the carry. Speaking of which..... can someone help me? Lol I'm a carry for now until I shake this rust off but would love some help.

I read the TWAB, and what I find funny is they claim they deal with cheaters. They even said some bs about how they're working with platform partners to figure out methods and more! They don't deal with cheaters! Which is why you see the same cheaters over and over and over again. The F2P aspect is enabling them to return as well, and it was a dumb decision on Bungie's part. They won't enable VAC on Steam when they have the option to on PC. And, using their crappy P2P servers, well now P2P/Client hybrid servers, literally enables someone to flood you with packets with ease because your IP is being handed out. The truth is Bungie is incompetent and doing nothing.
