Where were they all this time when cheating has been going on for years? I realize it may have been a very minor annoyance that Bungie would be on top of when streamers (not anyone else) reported them, but cheating is something that the rest of us deal with on a regular basis for a very long time. Instead of advocating for nerfs/buffs that suit their wants, they should have been asking bungie to do something that affects everyone. Now that they're complaining about things the rest of us see every day and get slapped in the face by the reality that exists outside their bubble, I have no sympathy. and before you deny anything about streamers not crying for nerfs/buffs, go to Dattos latest video where he talks about how nerfs are already being discussed. Streamers hate hard light because it levels the playing field, and are crying about Revokers ammo economy because they feel that too many lesser skilled people are using it and, again, leveling the playing field. Theres no doubt that streamers could snipe with any other gun out there and take out lesser skilled players who are using revoker, but then become hypocrites for still crutching it. After watching his videos for years, its blatantly obvious that anything he talks about is based in self-bias and far from reality. Its pathetic that none of his sheep have ever called him out on it, nor does he listen to anything reasonable other than how he wants things to be.

Bro are you serious? You act like these guys arent stream sniped daily along with people using beloved (insert whatever weapon you want) that shoot like a machine gun.. They face people in comp who have self rez cheats .. Aztecross made a 20 minute video highlighting all the bullshit that alot of people face right before trials was released.. You can youtube it yourself you'll find plenty of the streamers you guys hate so much highlighting the amount of shitters that dilute the fun in all areas of PvP Enough with calling things a crutch because you dont like using it or don't like dying to it... Its in the game for everyone to use if they have the weapon

Personally, I hate PvP in Destiny. In fact, if it were to get permanently eradicated, I’d be the happiest Guardian alive. But there’s no question that a significant portion of the Destiny community enjoys PvP (for some reason). Before Trials, many PvP-ers were yearning for its return. Had Bungie not brought it back, PvP would have been all but dead and that would mean losing at least half of the community, if not more. It had to come back. It’s a shame that it’s a broken shit show riddled with cheaters and inadequate loot incentives but it did need to come back. We can’t pretend that only streamers wanted it back.

A small portion of the PvP playerbase wanted it back. If Bungie had done a simple vendor refresh or offered better rewards for resetting Valor or even achieving certain glory ranks the pvp community would have been fine.

The PvP community will never be fine. They fix one thing then they cry and complain about something else. They want trials back........ waaaaa it’s full of sweats and cheaters like last time......... waaaaaaa fix hardlight it’s useless......... waaaaaa hardlight is good nerf it....... it will never end. Only way to end it is to get rid of the toxic waste of a activity.

True, but you have to ask yourself how/why bungie made it the way they did. Surely they sought feedback from those who wanted it, so I’m convinced the blame lies with both streamers and bungie. And I say streamers because 1) bung is doesn’t listen to anyone else and 2) they’re the ones who get to test new things out
